Overall great experience!

The room was nice overall and clean however I was upset because we weren’t allowed to use the hotel parking garage just because we didn’t want to use the valet. It’s a pandemic, I don’t want a stranger in my car. I doubt the hotel makes their employees take covid test for them to keep working. I was happy to pay the fee but they would still not allow to self park. I got offered to park in the back parking lot which looked a lot less safe. I am happy nothing happened to my car but it’s still upsetting that I wouldn’t be allowed to park in a garage because I didn’t want a unknown person parking my car in pandemic times.

Loved my room, very comfortable bed great bathroom and a view over the city and pool which was to die for.

The water was a milky white. There was no hot water. The air did not work in our room.

Arrived at hotel to check in at 9pm to be told that there would be no hot water from 10pm that night until 10am the following morning. I understand this isn't there fault but the front desk staff were not at all apologetic about the inconvenience - they just matter of factly stated that there was no hot water and told me I could book a hotel elsewhere if I liked.

Lovely place, great location. Perfect to explore downtown El Paso.

Same price as before COVID however, due to "covid" no housekeeping. Not sure I understand this. No one is ever in their room when housekeeping is cleaning anyhow. So where is the danger? Room service was TERRIBLE! We have stayed here in the past and absolutely loved it. This experience was less than desirable.

The hotel itself is beautiful. Checking in at 4pm, there seemed to be confusion about our room and if it was ready or not. They had us wait a bit while they “inspected it” but gave us complimentary breakfast vouchers, which was great. Well, walking into our room there seemed to be crumbs on the floor. One part of the floor was sticky as if someone had spilled a sugary beverage. Mirror had prints all over it. All in all, clearly not cleaned. I called and they sent someone to do a 5 min job at cleaning while we waited in the lobby once again. Went back to our room, crumbs were still there just moved around with the mop. We stayed for 5 days and they refused to come back and clean the room. “Covid rules and short staffed” was their excuse. Also, parking closes after midnight and they won’t reopen until 7am. So you have to go search for a place to park elsewhere.
