The location is amazing. My room has a view of the mountains just like the resort hotels I remember from growing up in Colorado. The Seoraksan main entrance is a five minute walk away. Solid food options at the hotel, and cheaper options available at the convenient store outside the parking lot.

Cozy old european style hotel with amazing view

It's a lovely authentic hotel with old european vibes. Great stay but sadly two of the restaurants were closed due to COVID 19. I'd definitely come back after the pandemic

Great location but ...

Easy access to the park without having to fight traffic. Kind and friendly staff. Room size is ok. I like the 2 pillows per guest. Old hotel but could have been maintained better: wallpaper peeling, molds and mildew in bathroom, would’ve been nice if there was a bidet, room was dark. Breakfast choices and quality weren’t desirable.

Nice hotel, not friendly customer service staff

27 Aug 2020: Staff tend to look down on foreigners, and help out their own. Two hours before 3 pm (check-in time), I was told that I could not check in early, and so I waited. While waiting, I saw four different customers (locals) speak to the hotel front desk staff, and were able to check-in right away. I left a note in my hotel room writing all my frustrations, not with the hotel, but to the staffs. Hotel-- Good, Hotel Staff-- Not Good

The proximity to the park was a bonus. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful. Not being able to buy even a cup of coffee, let alone a meal in the hotel was very disappointing. Amenities notwithstanding, the stay was comfortable.

Room was nice, I didn't have a mountain view but still beautiful. Staff were relatively good, a few language barriers (i waited for a wine for 30 minutes as she hadn't realised I ordered one) breakfast buffet was tasty, predominantly Asian with some western breakfast items. Dinner was not suitable for me, they had a two person meal and my only options were pizza or chicken and chips or fish and chips or salad. I think my chicken and chips with a beer cost me AUD$50! I bought ramen from the7-11 next night. I stayed here to go to Seoraksan, if it weren't for the great location I probably would've stayed elsewhere.
