Amazing place to stay, the views, the accommodation, and all within a leisurely stroll into town. We were provided an upgrade at a minimal cost which was well worth every cent spent. Had an issue with the Sky access in the first room, and we were moved to another room with very little effort or inconvenience. Highly recommend!

We were upgraded to a lake view apartment, the views were terrific. Our stay was very comfortable although the apartment is in need of a spruce up. The staff were very helpful and were prompt in responding to any request we made. Overall we would recommend staying at the Pounamu suites. Nice and close to town.

Clean apartment with fantastic views of Lake Wakatipu and about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Queenstown

Upgraded to front 2 bedroom unit with perfect view of Frankton arm and lake. Free parking and internet. Hard to fault really.

Overall the room was nice and in a good location, but we felt a little deceived by the Expedia listing of the property which failed to mention the following: - being apartments, your “room” is actually within an apartment with which you share an entrance with another room; - “private hot tub” is not actually available but is held for apartment owners in the complex only. In NZ, this would be considered to be a spa that seats a number of people with jets, lights etc. If they are trying to describe the bath in your room as this then I’m quite angry as I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel room that doesn’t have a bath; - the complex has no restaurant. Your breakfast is just however many days worth of yoghurt, muesli, bread etc. that they can cram into your little fridge in the room; - calling it “5 star” is a bit rich given it is just apartments with no hotel amenities on site, and accordingly the pricing was very high (feeling a bit ripped off).

Our apartment was lovely, comfortable and quiet. There was a lot of food in the fridge for what I can assume is for a continental breakfast so I was confused whether we were to eat it or not? Seemed wasteful as we didn't as I didn't want to be charged. Overall the stay was lovely
