We arrived at 9.00pm with our family and 2 dogs. The owners were so lovely and welcoming and accommodated us brilliantly. This is going to be our stop when heading North from now on. Breakfast kept everyone happy and got us ready for the day ahead.

A proper old fashioned farm house, no pretty shabby chic here just a real farm home. Stayed in one of the wings. Warm, good shower, clean towels and toiletries. Bit dissapointed about there being no phone signal at all, but thats not the owners fault. Bit of a hurry the next morning so no time for a long leasurly breakfast, but the quick bacon and eggs was great. Would I stay again? Certainly....

Pleasant farm location in countryside but near to local pubs and good food. Breakfast very good and very helpful host. Room facilities need checking regularly by owner - light bulb blown on arrival, extractor fan in bathroom not working so mirror steamed up. Kettle had old water in a black 'tide' line requiring cleaning and reboiling before use. Had the feeling that maintenance was reactive upon customer commetns rather than proactive. No instructions for a very fancy zaccuzi shower and no long mirror in room.

Lovely clean room in a very peaceful location. We enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast. The hosts were very friendly.

The room was large and airy but lacking facilities. There was no desk or flat service to work from and nothing but basic coffee and tea with the kettle. (No biscuits or other choices.) Also who's idea was it to put bells on the keys - made me hear the neighbour's regular comings and goings each time!
