We goofed! Have traveled the world for fifty years. It is a guest house not a hotel. Lady at the desk and in charge was wonderful. The site was not suitable for 80 year olds. Left early, leaving two nights payment on the table. If you visit the Lake District do not pick a Bank Holiday!

Friendly staff, close enough to the station, around 20 min on foot to the lake. We stayed in the ground floor, so we couldn't sleep with the windows open. The room was clean, had a queen bed and an extra single bed, the breakfast was cooked to order. Must specify your dietery needs beforehand though. Overall good experience.

Had a very enjoyable relaxing stay. Very nice hotel, great room, friendly efficent staff, great breakfast, very close to shops bars rastauraunts.

Loved the hotel a really nice house, cute clean rooms each with their own name. A nice common room with an honour bar filled with wines cocktails and soft drinks. A helpful staff, and wonderful breakfast. The only downsides was the street traffic can be a bit much. Would love to doubleglaze the bedroom windows. And the rooms have no individual air control so sleeping a tad uncomfortable. Could have used a fan.

Lovely b&b in the heart of Windemere town. Short drive to the lake.
