Perfect hotel in Amsterdam

We loved our stay at hotel Sebastian’s! It is in the perfect location on the canal close to everything but quiet. The hotel room was perfect for our needs and we loved sitting by the window with the view of the canal. Everything was clean and modern. The espresso machine was also a plus.

The front desk staff is AMAZING!! Garvey and Sammy were extremely helpful and have great customer service!! They really made us feel welcomed! The hotel cleaning staff does a great job and the room was super clean. We would definitely stay again in a future visit!! Walking distance from Central station and many great restaurants nearby.

Dark but luxurious, in a great location.

This is a lovely spot on the canal belt, overlooking a peaceful canal, but close enough to walk almost everywhere. The hotel is housed in a typical canal-side building and is well appointed, though the decor is the currently fashionable designer dismal, with dark walls and even dark bedside lights (who would put a black shade on a bedside light?). Rooms are small, with tiny bathrooms, but have every facility, including a tiny sitting area in the window, overlooking the canal. Staff were welcoming and helpful, happy to print out our return flight documents and check flight times. The hotel's list of local restaurants was very useful. The breakfast arrangements did not suit us, because we don't like to pre-order and the selection wasn't to our taste. There are plenty of cafes nearby with interesting menus, though.

Great spot for a trip to Amsterdam

Friendly, helpful staff and a room that had everything you’d need. The location was great too! In the canal district and close to everything but far enough from the crowds to have some quiet!

Skimped on the little things

Very nice hotel , great coffee machine with coffee pods , very clean and comfortable , bathroom toiletries were not replenished daily also charging €3 euro for a 35c bottle of water seemed a bit tight , overall good location, no room service available, but overall expensive for the facilities

Great for family of 3

Very nice hotel in a great location. Service was excellent. Of course being in city, rooms were somewhat small but everything was laid out very well. Nespresso coffee maker was a nice amenity.

A superb jewel of a hotel with amazing staff.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Sebastian’s, I had a wonderful room, plenty of space in the bathroom, it was super comfortable and the hotel was very well located centrally. There were lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby to choose from, it was easy walking to the Central Station, or you could walk 10 minutes to Westermarkt where there were trams to take you to different parts of the city. Best of all were the amazing staff who made my stay extra special, they were all so helpful and friendly. I will definitely be coming back there again.

An unexpected jewel

Clean, comfortable, nicely appointed, friendly and helpful staff, and absolutely walkable to everywhere. Loved it.
