A relaxing getaway

Overall a very beautiful place and very relaxing. Just what my wife and I were looking for. The room, the outdoor shower, bath, private dipping pool, and deck overlooking the ocean were all great. Everyone was very welcoming and extremely helpful. Food decent, some meals better than other, it was to have some meals in the room, some in the common area. The only thing that we were not a huge fan of was that there was no dock and the shore was very shallow and rocky so the boat could not pull up all the way, so you have to walk through about 50-100 feet of water up to your knees. Which wasnt usually a huge deal but the day we were leaving our luggage got quite wet. With the amount they charged per night you would think there would be slightly better accommodations to get on and off the island. Despite that one minor issue, my wife and I really enjoyed our relaxing time and missed our week in Fiji.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at many luxury resorts in the Mamanuca Islands - but NOTHING compares to Tadrai. The staff are kind, generous and welcoming. The have lots of amazing stories to share and always go out of their way to ensure you’re having the best time whether wanting to have an adventure or just lazing by the pool with a cocktail for days. The rooms are so comfortable (request room number 5 if you don’t mind a small hike) as the views are phenomenal and the room is a little more private. Being a small island means there are only ever 5 couples at the resort at a time - so it’s a great place to make new friends but also big enough that you can enjoy time alone. It really does have it all! Also - the all inclusive offer means you never have to worry about food and drink (& it’s beyond fresh & delicious...). The team were so accommodating to my dietary requirements which I REALLY appreciated as it meant I could enjoy every meal without the fear of getting sick. We only just got home but have already started to look at dates we can come back!!

Property sited perfectly to maximize stunning views. Everywhere you look is like a postcard. Staff is welcoming and incredibly friendly, willing to provide options or suggestions for things to do - if you want them. They made a special birthday cake to celebrate for us while we were there. Many snorkeling options so you can go to a new locations each day via the resort’s boat. The “sunset” view from the boat - complete with wine and canapés - is a must see. Perfect place to get away from it all. Highly recommend visiting!

Wow! Beautiful, professional, friendly!

My wife and I celebrated our two-year wedding anniversary at Tadrai Island Resort and we feel it was an absolutely perfect choice! They greeted us when we arrived with cheering as if we were celebrities. From the time we arrived until the time we left, it was clear to me that the only goal of the staff was to make our stay as perfect as possible. This is a very quiet and private resort with only a handful of couples checked in at any given time. So the staff goes out of their way to make sure that we as guests are always taken care of. We could ask for drinks and appetizers and they would hand deliver it to us in our private plunge pools. They decorated a fancy dinner for us on our anniversary night complete with a serenade from the staff singing to us! It was very romantic! On another day, we had lunch and private snorkeling on a beautiful sandy island a little ways from the resort. The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking. If you like, the gourmet lunch and dinners are served chef-choice style based on what foods you indicate to them that you like. Basically, they take care of EVERYTHING and all you have to do is tell them what you'd like to do! The phrase of the day was "Relax, you're on Fiji time." We have never in the past received such world class treatment. We didn't want to leave. The activities director, meals and housekeeping staff, thank you for a unique and unforgettable experience!

The beach is rocky. The room is incredible. The food and drink is hit or miss. The service is good. The location is very nice and the views are really great The hotel staff will take you around by boat to snorkel, swim, watch sunsets, island hop, picnics on the beach. The pace is very, very laidback and you need to truly be prepared to lounge around, relax and take things slow. This is not a big operation, so do not expect an experience like you get at other all-inclusive or luxury resorts. It is a fantastic room (the pictures don't lie), with a great view and location that has unlimited activities, but the food and drink is not gourmet and the service is not perfect. If you want a perfect room and a very relaxing vacation, but you don't care about having a gourmet food and drink experience, this place is perfect. If you want overwhelming breakfast buffets, multi-course dinners, great cocktails, premium wine and beer you won't get that here. The food and drink isn't bad, it was pretty good, but it isn't on the level of some other resorts with more resources and a larger staff.

Increíble!!!

Simplemente nos ENCANTO! Estuvimos en 3 resorts diferentes en las islas de Fiji, y Tadrai hizo INCREÍBLE el viaje. El agua de la ducha es salada y tienes que lavarte los dientes con botella de agua potable, y es parte de la experiencia única! La comida es muy rica y el chef se adapta a tus preferencias. El personal es de lo más amable y atento. Son solo 5 Villas, por lo que lo hace un hotel sumamente exclusivo. Hay varias actividades para hacer y el personal es en extremo servicial para que disfrutes de todo. Sin duda regresaremos a Tadrai
