Perfect Hotel
I booked this after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and stocked with a free soft drink minibar. I am one of those people who can base the success of an entire holiday on how good the shower is and this didn't disappoint! The bed was possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in, I almost missed some important city sights because I didn't want to get out of bed! The staff, especially Gabriella and Alexandra, could not have been more helpful, booking tickets for attractions and recommending fabulous local restaurants. We were given advice on what would need to be booked, opening times, anything we may need to know. There was a citywide taxi strike so they provided information about buses and metro routes. Everyone was efficient and professional while being friendly and approachable. I cannot emphasise enough how wonderful they all were. We had breakfast here the first morning and it was so good, we went on to have it every day! The food was fresh, well presented and delicious. As it is served until 11am, we even managed an early trip to Park Guell one morning and had breakfast on our return. Highly recommended. I could go on and on but suffice to say, I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon.

Absolutely fantastic hotel
Might be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. You know how every hotel has something that they could do better? This hotel actually looks at those things and makes them better. Location: hotel is right in the middle of Barcelona, easy walk to most of the attractions. Sagrada is right down the street. Restaurants are all over the place. Huge shopping district right down the same street the hotel is on. Perfect location. Check-in/staff: Staff is wonderful. Fully fluent in English and Spanish, maybe more languages I'm not sure. They are attentive and they are well presented. It didn't really feel like they were hotel staff but more like your own personal concierges. Room: our room was very well appointed and extremely clean. Bigger than most European rooms, but not Las Vegas big, still a good size. Comfy bed, soft and thick towels, great shower, nice furniture, and thick toilet paper (more ply than I use at home!). It was simple and elegant. Each room has a fingerprint scanner for the door key which is really cool, keeps you from having to worry about carrying around a keycard. Other: I don't think there was a pool in the building, but I'm not sure. This isn't a resort hotel where you're going to spend all your time in the hotel. It's meant to be a nice place to stay in the city where there are lots of things to do outside. They do have a restaurant that looked incredible but was a little pricey.

ضعيف
Really nice hotel. WORST SERVICE AND STAFF
I arrived at BCN at 11pm and there was no taxis at the airport since they were on a strike. I called the hotel to ask them to send the hotel car (since it is after all a 5 stars hotel) they told me that they don't have a csr nor a shuttle nor they are able to help me. So I had to take a bus then the train all the while carrying my luggage up and down until I arrived to the hotel. The staff is horrible, they have this attitude as if they were superior to their guests. They gave me a double bed with two separate mattresses and I have told them that i wanted a king size mattress. They promised to resolve it the next day and they didn't. As an apology the next day they offered me a 5$ champagne (knowing that the nightly rate is around $300) as if it will make me feel better after carrying my luggage from the airport to the bus, walking on plaza de Espagna, having to carry my bags inside the metro, trying to figure out how the metro works and finally walking 1km with 50kg of luggage on passeig de gracia. I mean the hotel is new and looks wonderful but service is ZERO. Do not go there

جيد جدًا
Nice hotel, but not 5 star.
Hotel Alma is a lovely boutique hotel and is located in a very convenient area to shops and attractions. The staff is very friendly and courteous. However, upon our arrival, we had to wait for our room for 2 and half hours. When I questioned the delay after the first 2 hours, I was told I simply had to continue to wait and was given no time frame as to when our room would be ready. When I complained about the fact that my 75 year-old mother was falling asleep on their couches, a room was quickly found for us. It shouldn't take me expressing my annoyance to facilitate finding a room. The other thing that turned me off to the hotel is the room itself. It is very bare-boned and not particularly inviting. The bathroom seat had scotch tape on it and there was no iron in the room. When we requested an iron we were given one that must have been 20 years old and had exposed wires. I will definitely commend the hotel on the beautiful garden outside and their food is outstanding. I would highly recommend dining for dinner, it was a very pleasant experience. But for the terrible check-in experience and bare-boned room, I would have given the hotel 4.5 stars. Just be wary this is not really a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff
This is a beautiful, peaceful hotel with friendly, helpful and erudite staff just off a bustling street with an array of luxury shops. I can only commend the staff for making us feel so at home during our stay and attending to our needs. The only negatives were that we dined in the hotel bar/garden one evening and the service was slow and confused, mainly because the poor waiter was trying to serve the whole bar and garden by himself. He tried his best but he needed more help. There was also a power cut on our final night in the hotel which ruined our evening somewhat. Obviously it was out of the control of the staff but we literally had to pack to leave in pitch darkness, with only the light from my phone to help. Also the only English TV channel was BBC World News. Not a huge issue but quite disappointed when there was an array of Spanish, German, Italian and even Russia channels to choose from!
