Delightful! Really lovely, warm and inviting hotel.. and sooo close to the beach without the price tag! I love this hotel

Staff saved the day

The staff was very friendly, but in our first room the toilet wouldn't flush and in the next room we didn't have hot water. Both issues were fixed very quickly and we did get 50% off on our food and drinks, which we appreciated. The beach is nearby and there's a nice stretch of stands and bars just a couple of minutes away. Good stay, just needs a bit of polish.

Staff working there was extremely incompetent. SHA hotels should know where their guests should go to book COVID tests and help them book it. No one at the hotel knew anything or spoke proper English. I had a few ridiculous situations. One example, I emailed a document to the reception to print. A staff member called my room to pick it up. By the time I got to the reception, a different person was there telling me I never emailed anything and no one called me. I had to go to get my phone to prove. No apology. Just rude eye rolling and then printing. dirty pool. At the pool bar there was a moulding dirty tissue for days before I asked the staff to clean it. empty breakfast buffet. 2 staff members would be just standing there during breakfast all the time and not check what needs to be refilled until asked a few times. Don’t waste your money. Very poorly managed property.

Photos of the property and room appears great but very disappointing when you arrive. Property is not maintained well, showers did not drain, pool was dirty, front desk was not staffed, no room service after 10pm, questionable stains on walls. Poor customer service and overall terrible place. Checked out after first night and staff will not refund for the remaining 3 nights we did not stay for.

Disappointing!

Hotel is extremely tired, nothing like pictures on line. We had the pool villa but on arrival room was full of mosquitoes, to say by the next morning we had at least 25 of them dead around the room having used our own spray would be an understatement. We were only supplied with half a roll of toilet paper and by mid-day the following day when there was still no sign of the clearners we had to go to reception to get some more outselves. We were left tea or a coffee mix in the room, but no sugar. Outside by the private pool the loungers were covered in bird muck and the main pool was in a poor state of repair. Breakfast was really poor and the chef could not even make an omelette, he dropped some ham into the scrambled egg and pushed the mixture together to serve. Good points: Location is handy to airport and beach with restaurants on is walking distance throught he national park between the hotel and beach. Would I stay again - NEVER!

So I normally don't really write reviews, but I just had too write this one as this is my second time staying at the L'esprit de Naiyang Beach Resort in Phuket. The reason I chose this resort for a second stay is because my first experience was great but I only stayed 4 days then and the service was exquisite. This time I stayed at the resort for 11 days and it was truly an amazing experience. I stayed in the Villa with a private pool as I enjoy the privacy. This resort also is on the Beautiful Naiyang Beach which is just a walk across from the resort. I must say the Manager Boonkong Boonpeng and his team of staff are on point with they guess, as they provided me with world class service. Every morning I enjoyed the breakfast included as well as the fresh coconut water is a must if your haven't tried it. Some days I eat at the resort restaurant and on other days I had food delivered to my Villa. It didn't matter where I got my food as the service and the presentation on the food was an over all incredible experience. I would like to say thank you to the staff of L'esprit de Naiyang Beach Resort in Phuket. And I plan on staying there again on my next visit to Phuket.
