Really lovely place - perfect for me! Charming and quirky too.

Once we found this well hidden place we were satisfied. Perhaps some better signage could make finding the hotel easier The facility itself has a unique charm of earlier times along with a few modernization details. Breakfast was fantastic with great internet service.

We spent 3 nights in Stockholm, just walking around the city and taking in the sites. The Hellstens Malmgard Hotel served our needs very well. It was about a 20-minute walk to the heart of Stockholm (the Gamla Stan area). The area around the hotel is clean and safe and has plenty of very good restaurants (we had a great Thai meal at Thongwiset, just one block over). The hotel has great history, which also means it is an old building. The rooms are very efficient but also quite small by American standards. But, the beds were very comfortable and clean and they served our purpose well. The breakfast was excellent with everything you could want (scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, cheeses, cereal, etc.), including wonderful, crusty breads with fresh butter. Overall, this was a great place and we would recommend it as a solid bet and a very good value.

I love this hotel, the breakfasts is very complete, you have some common parts to rest and drink tea and the bed is great.

We had a great night’s stay here - staff is exceptionally friendly, breakfast was great and room was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

There was a lot to like about this hotel, even if I was apprehensive when I arrived. Its an old renovated house which gives it a great feel, and they have done a great job given the constraints of an old house. I appreciated the 24 hr coffee machine and the glass roofed room to sit in downstairs. Breakfast was also lovely and there are several restaurants close by. Its not really near the sites, but was perfect for my stay.
