The stay was amazing. The room was cleaned well every day. The rooftop pool area was fantastic, great food and drinks, very attentive staff. The breakfast in the restaurant was good, serving staff in the restaurant were great. Noisy bar across the street but quited down around 12-1am.

The hotel is very well placed on the corner of Quinta Ave in which all the magic happens in Playa del Carmen. Super close to the beach and also include a pool at its roof top, you cannot beat that. The check-in is painless (same goes for the checkout) and the staff is extremely friendly. The hotel has very nice and comfortable rooms (depending on which floor-plan you choose) but overall great. The rooms are not very well sound proofed and the cantina blasting it's music across the street from the hotel, will keep you up at night as their music plays well into the wee hours of the morning. Obviously, the hotel is very well located and as a consequence has bars and clubs, but I personally think the hotel should have made an effort to soundproof (partially at least) so the guests can rest (most customers are on vacation, right?). Going back to the cleanliness of the room/bath, this part was immaculate, so points to the staff with the maintenance of the rooms. The only issue I found was that the showers barely have any hot water, lest warm. Ice cold showers may be great to wake up from a hangover, but not my cup of tea as a business traveler. Finally, I wanted to mention their internet which is really poor, both in connectivity and in speed. I really hope they focus on fixing this issue and increasing connectivity (simple with google wifi) and as for speeds, other hotels in the area offer higher connections. This affects more the businessman and a little less the vacationer.

The suite was big, clean and comfortable. The rooftop and pool were awesome. The staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great but be prepared for noise we’ll past midnight. As I’m an early riser, I would not stay so near the heart of 5th Avenue again.

We had an amazing time during our stay at The Palm. The service was great and the room was spacious and modern. We loved Sandra, the concierge, as she was incredibly kind and helpful with helping us plan day trips. We can't wait so stay there again!
