Breathtaking & Full of Charm

L’alya is truly a hidden gem in an ever growing upscale market in Vietnam. Sometimes overlooked by her flashier and ultra luxe neighbors, L’alya comfortably stands on her own. I’ll break down my review based on areas of interest: Grounds, Facilities & Setting -One of the best parts of L’alya is her setting. Part tropical beach resort, part ‘mountain retreat’- it’s truly the first time I’ve ever been able to see palm trees swaying at the same time I was listening to the breeze through the pine trees. I’ve stayed at all of the Ninh Van resorts and I’d rate L’alya’s beach as the best on the ‘island’. Also, the pool is an absolute stunner. Villas -I stayed in a Lagoon View Villa which is what I would suggest if you want to feel like you’re a million miles away from it all (in the best of ways). Everything in the Villa was designed well, noticeable quality and authentic to its location. The bathroom was stunning. Outside, there was a beautiful private pool, an outdoor living room and sun loungers- all looking out over the lagoon to the ocean. Service -With just 33 villas, service is where they really show what they’re made of. Every Villa is looked after by a “Butler” who coordinates anything and everything for you at the resort. Quyên, my butler was a star who I could not say enough good things about. I also cannot speak of service without mentioning Hưng the restaurant manager and his team of genuinely warm servers. I really cannot say enough good things about L’alya.

Wonderful in every way

A beautiful resort with wonderful staff who could not do enough for you. Villa was large and private. A very relaxed atmosphere. Lovely grounds and beach. Can not recommend highly enough.

Amazing staff. They really go above and beyond for you. It's extremely relaxing, and a very rustic but luxurious Villa. We stayed at the lagoon villa. I would recommend kayaking and lounging at the Villa pool or the infinity pool.

Beautiful location and complete relaxation

The Villas are just incredible - you get a huge bed, an entire living area and huge bathroom, complete with outdoor shower and bath not to mention the private pool! We stayed in a villa by the lagoon - and it was felt so secluded. It was the prefect place to unwind and relax. The service was great and the food really good. The only downside is that you are limited to activities as once you arrive you are on the resort and there is only the one restaurant to eat at.

Island Feel resort

Our family of 4 including 2 teenagers chose L’Alyana for a short 3 night break over the new year before taking on Hanoi. The resort was well organized and the staff friendly. We were fortunate to have villa 8 which is adjacent to the restaurant and at the end of the jetty. Therefore we did not require electric carts for our transport. It was very quiet despite being next to the restaurant. The villa was large with an outdoor bath and shower and internal swing, plunge pool and overlooked the beach. Food was very good, presentation wonderful. Pho for breakfast has now become our staple. Unfortunately not due the fault of the resort, it rained the entire time (unseasonal) we were there. Our only negative comment would be that the resort could have thought up some activities to entertain the guests. The staff and management did put on a terrific New Years Eve show and dinner however despite the weather.

A Piece of Paradise

This was easily one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at with some of the nicest and most attentive staff. We stayed at L'Alyana for one night on Saturday November 3rd to Sunday November 4. Everything was perfect, from the airport pick up, to the reception drink while we waited for our short boat ride to their island hotel. If you are looking for absolute piece and quiet, while being pampered with amazing service, this is the place for you. Our villa was in an amazing location, seemingly like being in the rainforest, while simultaneously getting a spectacular view of the water.

L'Alyana is awesome is the perfect resort to get away from the city, very exclusive and great place to relax. The rooms are incredible and the villa makes you feel like you are on your own tree house. The hotel pool is amazing, we liked it better than our pool villa as the villa doesn't have a view from the pool. The breakfast buffet is great and restaurant has some great options. The hotel has activities every day and everyone is extremely helpful and nice.
