Food was very good. Rooms clean but very basic. Our room was on ground floor and an accessible room with wet room. However floor tiles were slippy and not enough grab rails.

Oh the smell...

Hotel Beauvoir was a last minute choice, as the Met St-Michel area is a difficult one to navigate due to security restrictions. Initially, the hotel staff could not find my reservation. They were busy serving beverages to other guests and the process took some time. Upon checkout, the staff attempted to charge me for my room despite having already paid via the website. The hallway leading to my room had a strong smell of urine. Since my room was near the restaurant, there was a smell of fish. All in all, not a pleasant experience. That said, my Mt St-Michel adventure the next day was outstanding.

Double-Billed

We had to walk from Mont Saint Michel; the room was tiny and next to a generator or some machine that made noise all night long, the worst part was that they forced me to pay when I left even though the room was pre-paid. They should have known better. They refused to confirm with Hotels.com that I’d paid them and were rude to me when I called regarding being double-billed. I got a refund from Hotels.com but am surprised to see this hotel still included on their site.

Outstanding location, wonderful staff, and great restaurant. If you’re doing MSM, there is nowhere else you should stay.

The bathroom is very small and the shower smells sewer. The second day of our stay, they forgot to give us towels. On the positive side, the breakfast was okay, not great, but had everything it needed to have. However, for a family of four, paying 40euros for a breakfast is a lot of money. The owner is friendly and the hotel is pretty from the outside. I will not recommend this hotel because it is too expensive for what they offer.

Good for visiting Mont Saint Michele

Check in staff and restaurant staff didn't seem very happy. The location was great for visiting Mont Saint Michele. The condition of the hotel wasn't so great either, but it was OK.
