This is lovely property set among the owner's many acres of old olive trees. With the Ionian Sea in the distance. I stayed only one night but would have been thrilled to stay for a much longer time. The tenuta is convenient to the road along the sea and to Rossano. Breakfast was set on a stone terrace looking out to La Sila mountains. The pool was beautiful for a quick swim on arrival. The only imperfections were no wifi in the room, probably due to the old stone walls, and too cool water in the shower. But lovely Italian ljnens and a meaningful tour of the tenuta chapel, library and original olive mill made for a memorable visit.

The Tenuta is abeautifil facility, set among old olive trees and easily reachable from the main road (106). The staff and the owners are wonderfully welcoming and enthusiastic. There are several good restaurants in the lower town, as well as in the historic ( and hard to navigate at night) upper town.

Magnificio!!

This hotel was absolutely marvelous. The staff is so warm and welcoming, and helpful. They have a beautiful setting and modern conveniences. It is decorated in old world style, but they have air conditioning, a pool, banquet facilities. Great place for a family reunion or wedding!! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

The breakfast is amazing and so is the venue but would benefit from a coffee bar/shop/restaurant to improve it. Also family rooms are small

Delightfully beautiful and luxurious B&B

Tenuta Ciminata Greco is an incredibly beautiful B&B, owned and run by a charming local family. The property is stunningly beautiful and very well maintained. It is quiet, extremely comfortable and delightful in every way. Our suite, really a lovely one bedroom apartment, had a fully equipped kitchen, so one could make meals here. But be advised that the hotel does not have a restaurant for dinner or lunch, and it is about 15 minutes drive to either the adolescent hormone-laden beach scene or the hilltop centro storico of Rossano. The latter is definitely worth a visit, though, and Mario at the Ciminata has some good restaurant recommendations. Probably not an easy place to stay if you do not have a car.

The hotel was a gem. Amazing 300 yr history.

Excellent !!! Historical olive trees 500 years old. Owned by family since 1700’s. Excellent service, Mario was extremely helpful in touring parks, area, etc. Breakfast was excellent. the Room was only $82, but should be >$500. It was that beautifully appointed with historical olive presses, and other antiquities. This is a must if visiting this area of Calabria.
