I was really disappointed I couldn't enjoy my morning cup of coffee. I wish that I would of been told to bring my own and cup if I wanted coffee. other than that the place was beautiful. We walked along the river and it was very peaceful, we saw lots of nature.

Room was just what we needed. Very clean. Cons- ceiling fans only had one speed. Ceiling fan in living room made a scraping sound so loud that we could not use it.

Decent Stay for the Price

We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and decided to stay here since it was really close to downtown New Braunfels. Everything was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. Though for us just slightly to soft, we did enjoy our time there. Others have talked about the train but from our room we could barely, if at all, hear it so that was not an issue. The only real problem we did have was the lack of coffee or even a coffee maker available in the room. Would of loved to have one since we are avid coffee people. Would stay there again if given the choice.

Poor Desk Help

I had called the hotel directly and asked them to charge my entire bill to the card I reserved with. Apparently this was not done as my daughter had to give her card when she arrived. So, poor service.

Great place

Everything was very nice. Staff in the office were friendly and very helpful. We went especially for the heated pools for our 18 month old those pools were closed as were the playgrounds. Most dur to COVID restrictions and maintenance. We will definitely go and hopefully COVID will be a bad memory.

Comfy stay

A great stay but if your a light sleeper the train passes all through the night and it is loud for rooms in the 300’s. Friendly service, quick check-in, clean and surrounded by nature.

The property was clean and a great place to make "Home Base" while exploring the area. A lot of deer and critters to watch from the porch. It is offseason so the park was closed and it was a bit creepy having all of the water park dry. There were some pools open for guests. They were "heated", but they were tepid in temperature. The stay was a discounted rate, so for the rate we paid, I would say the accommodations were pretty great. Just wouldn't stay during the offseason with hopes of making the grounds a primary experience.
