There was a bomb threat at the hotel which caused us to be out of the hotel for hours. I dropped my family off while I had to drive to the off-site parking and the staff actually let them go up to the room. We were the out for so long and travelling early the following so we needed to find other accommodations and then go back and pick everything up when we got the kids settled in the new place. They’ll hotel also refused a refund for the night even thought we had to pay elsewhere as well and didn’t get proper use of the room.

Handy city hotel - at the top of the main street that goes down to the water. You are within a 10 minute walk of dozens of cafe's, restaurants etc

I liked the location with my view over the nameless archeological remains. The staff were friendly and helpful in the difficult times created by Covid-19 and did everything to make my stay pleasant. I was in the hotel for 8 days, and the only constraint was the fact that to meet covid hygeine rules breakfast could not be operated as a buffet, and the compromise solution that everything was hand served to your choice made the process slow and sometimes overwhelmed the very helpful team in the moderately sized breakfast room. My room was excellent, with a good modern shower and a small but practical balcony; the air conditioning unit had an efficient remote control, and worked very well. Although I walked most days, there is a taxi rank within 100 metres, just in front of the government office on the main road north of the hotel, I never saw it without waiting taxis. For a holiday stay I would certainly be happy to return to the Park Hotel.

Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel was following hygiene regulations. Quite central, yet not noisy. Highly recommended!

Excellent centrally located clean and modernhotel

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long time; spotlessly clean, very modern, great balcony, modern bathroom and also very friendly staff.
