Ambiance was great. I initially got a room then added another one for the children. The childrens’ room got a rat hence they have to move to another one. Our water boiler was not working, we called for it to be changed. The wi-fi was unstable the following day, i have to miss my scheduled conference call. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Food was okay not great - they do not refill on time (until you call their attention). They don’t know their guest, considering that i had booked before hand, front desk was asking me if I am going to pay when i gave then (i had given my credit card incase deposit was needed). Service was too slow. Razel the supervisor at that time wasn’t helpful at all and i believe should take additional training for customer service.

The hotel is outdated and needs a lot of maintenance, tiles for coming loose as we are swimming in the pool. The carpet in the bedroom was filthy dirty and we had to ask for washcloths and towels every day. Also there is no view of the ocean anymore due to a large concrete wall installed by the government. So the photo you see in their hotel description does not exist, you cannot see the ocean from the swimming pool.

Every thing was kept clean and tidy by the housekeepers, however, the room was becoming tired, with cupboard doors catching , the tap to the wash basin was loose and the shower didn’t drain very well. The push buttons on the toilet also stuck down sometimes.

Overall very pleasant swimming pools amazing

Under staffed at the pool bar and the restaurant was terrible. The best part was an excellent breakfast buffet each morning.

It was nice, the staff were polite. But the balcony door didn't have a lock. Poor drainage.

Nice place to relax as it's facing the beach but unfortunately the view is obstructed by the recent construction of sea wall. It does have 5 swimming pools. Rooms & toilets are spacious. It would be lovely if the beds have flat sheets aside from the coverlets. Public toilet near Samsara cafe would be better if it has an air vent. Excellent staff service! Would definitely come back.

The staff and service was incredible. It was raining after a great buffet breakfast and a staff member and security guard walked us back to our room with big umbrellas. They were great from checking in to checking out. We will be back to stay at the Oriental Leyte for sure.

Outstanding service, food and the rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated.
