We loved the location, staff, and hotel. The only two things we didn't like were not having a "hot tub" and the restaurant kitchen was always extremely slow even when we ordered the simplest thing.

Great location near to Metro Station, restaurants and safety area. Bar 2*1 from 3:00 pm to 8:00pm in the hotel. Nice breakfast buffet.

They Should Rename it the German TRYP Hotel.

I have an office in PTY and come here often. I lke to stay in different hotels here to check them out. This was my first time at this property. Property is well located, it is an older property that needs a renovation. The Staff is nice and courteous. My first room everything worked fine, AC, lights, and the shower pressue was really good. My first night at the hotel I was woken at 1:35am by the "guests" in the room next door. Yelling, throwing things, banging on the wall, etc. I complained they next day and they said they would look into it. When I arrived that afternoon they apologized and said they were moving me to a "suite". That was nice of them but inconvenient for me to have to move all my stuff, they should have removed the "people" who were causing the problem and not make me move. The "suite" was not in as good condition, lights did not work, shower pressure bad, etc. This hotel caters to lower middle class German Tour Groups. If you are in an elevator 10 of them will try and cram in with you which is not healthy! They take all the breakfast space in the restaurant even though they have their own section set up on the pool deck. Breaksfast was so-so if you can find where to sit... Will I stay at this property again, probably not. Too many other better hotels in PTY without the inconvenience of ignorant people not being aware of other guests. This is not a hotel for a business person.
