The front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgable

Brilliant stay for 2 nights. We were given a large room with an extra bed for my kid. The mattresses were too soft for us so we asked them to add a layer or make it harder which they promptly did. The ladies at the reception, the ones who served us breakfast were such wonderful people, ever smiling and always there to help. The hotel is undergoing construction so we couldn’t keep our windows open fully during the day which is the only reason I haven’t marked this as a perfect stay.. overall though one of our better experiences during our stay in Switzerland.

Hotel is OK. Less than 10min walk to the Interlaken Ost station and to some nice restaurants. As of February, the hotel was going through some major construction. We weren’t effected since it was a weekend. The furniture and other fixtures had a bit of a “cheap” to them. But may not matter much for most. Staff was very friendly and warm.

Good stay and the hotel had good amenities. The breakfast buffet was excellent!

The hotel was clean, and most staff polite. We had an issue when we arrived (a large amount of giant flies in our allocated room), which was sorted, by moving us to another room in a short term basis, then moving us back however caused us a great deal of inconvenience, having to unpack, repack, unpack and repack again all within the first 36 hours of our arrival, all whilst trying to stick to our busy schedule for our short stay. When we received a call to let us know we could move back to our original room, I asked for confirmation that the issue had been resolved, I was assured it had been, I asked if they had got to the bottom of what had caused so many large flies to be in a small bathroom- to which I was told, it was my fault for leaving a window open!! This was rather annoying as we hadn’t opened a window and had only been in that room for a matter of minutes! Hotel room was far to warm, however they do provide a small fan to slightly ease the discomfort of the heat, however given the first issue we experienced we were to scared to open the window! Staff, particularly at breakfast were lovely, good variety of food. Disappointed that the hotel bar was closed for refurb, however this want communicated to guests so was a shock, in fact, we actually thought the hotel was closed upon arrival, due to the skips, building site.

The location is amazing! The view from our room is stunning!
