Hotel is located well. Minni bus from Ivalo airport drops u off at the hotel for 10€ a person. It is next to the lake. Has views of the lake from the back of the Restaurant. Breakfast was good, has options. Room was a little small but sufficient for 2 people. There is no Lift / Elevators, so one has to carry their luggage by stairs.We saw some norther lights around midnight. The hotel also helps arrange for Day/Evening tours. Over all a good experience. Would be happy to stay over another time, specially for Lake views and Northern lights.

Limited accommodation, tbis one of choice with value price

I had a lovely stay at the Kultahippu. Had a small issue with my room when I arrived but staff were very friendly and dealt with it very quickly, couldn’t asked more. Very nice room and breakfast was great.

We loved staying here. The staff were friendly, helpful and stayed up to check us in late. The bar was fun after a day of travel. It was everything we needed. I would definitely recommend and a great price performer.

I stayed here for a night as I was arriving late and didn’t want to pay for an extra night at the igloo hotel when I wouldn’t get to experience it. The hotels in a good location but it’s very basic with few amenities. Good for a short, cheap stay

Nice hotel close to airport. Rooms smallish but perfectly adequate and clean. Comfy beds. Evening meal really good but on the expensive side but given how far north we were, it’s understandable. Buffet breakfast was good and varied, but the cooked items could be a bit warmer. Friendly and helpful staff. We have stayed in the hotel Ivalo before, however the kultahippu was definitely a better hotel. Opposite supermarket which is very handy.

Hotel Kultahippu was located close to town which was convenient, nice natural décor downstairs, not many sightseeing trips were available on the day, enjoyed my walk to a village Aurora and spending some time with the reindeers

The hotel was very pleasant and clean. Dining/breakfast room was a little dark as was the waiting area in the lobby. The breakfast offered a large variety of hot and cold food and drinks.The room I had booked was rather small; the bathroom door touched the end of the bed when open. The receptionist - Erja - was delightful and very helpful.

Friendly staffs and fast check in and check out. Good location where it is just located opposite a shopping mall and few restaurants nearby. Our room is at another building which is just across a road from the main building of the property. Room is clean with comfortable bed. Fantabulous breakfast.
