Excellent - but do your research

Location is sensational, the staff were excellent and full of good information and always helpful. Restaurant food is superb. I'd find out if there are special events, it can be noisy when groups reserve large areas - the beach was not available on our arrival due to a large group reserving the entire area. If a large group is using the rooftop pool the music can be very loud - it's a great scene, but not always quiet and serene - so know what you are looking for - good value.

Pros: Beautiful, unique property. Incredible staff Amazing food and drinks Cons: Only 2 restaurants seen on property, not 4. Bar at the pool closed before the end of sunset. No smart TV.

Amazing hotel, my only disappointment was how far is from San Lucas, Cabos (Party town if you are there for that). Rent a car but worth the stay here. Just wish the gym had a bigger option. I also love the fact they had entertainment every night and the dinner (restaurant) was delicious being a vegan I had no problem. Saturday they had a DJ by the pool. This hotel is in the area of San Jose, Cabos much of a grown environment!!

I liked the atmosphere, openness and staff. We felt like family and special because various staff would talk with us. Food was great also. The ride to the beach and the boatman was fun and friendly and professional. The spa same experience, so nice and attentive. We had our hair done and a manicure and felt loved. The room was perfect for us. We will be back and want El Ganzo to be our home away from home. ❤️

This is a fun, artsy property with the friendliest, most helpful staff. The view of the marina was nice and we even saw whales breaching while we were hanging out on the beautiful rooftop pool area. The food was good, which was nice because other dinning options within walking distance are limited. The hotel provides on site covid testing which was really helpful. Our only slightly off putting experience was with the beach club. We were told by the front desk staff that it was free but upon arriving (the area is a short boat ride across the marina) we discovered that it was really $45USD per person charge. This could be used on drinks and food served there but it was a use it or lose it fee. We had just eaten and weren't able to drink $90 (2 of us) worth of beverages while we were there. It would have been nice if we could have transferred the remainder of our credit back to the hotel restaurant but that was not an option. We ended up buying drinks for a group of people we didnt know to use it up. Our objection wasnt for the fee, but that we weren't told, and it wasnt mentioned anywhere that this was the way it worked. Had we have known, we would have planned accordingly.
