We were disappointed with our room, we booked a Queen-Deluxe ensuite but the room was only 8ft wide! Also the B&B is located on a very busy intersection of Hwy 2 and the noise from the traffic was disturbing. Breakfast was at a greasy spoon diner next door not what we expected.

This Victorian home has the lovely dark old wood everywhere, as in the olden days. We enjoyed the narrow staircases, smaller bedrooms, (the bed was very comfortable) beautiful decor with antiques everywhere! The dormers add character and historical class to your stay! The breakfast was delicious at the cafe right nearby, a bonus, so you don’t have to eat first thing in the morning, if you’d rather not. Good Experience overall!

The room was a little small for the contents. The bath was also small, including the shower. Otherwise the location was good and staff were friendly. A good hot breakfast was provided.

This was our second visit and both times have been wonderful. Herb, the host, is very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about things to see and do on the island. A highlight of our trip to PEI.

The breakfast was not served in their lovely dining room. We walked across the parking lot to a convenience store/diner where we ordered from a very limited menu. I have nothing against diner food but the food was awful.

Check in is only between 3&6 when we arrived an envelope was pinned on the banister outside with my name and door access code. A note greeted us inside requesting that all foot wear be removed before walking on the hardwood floors. Our room was located on the third floor with no assistance to carry luggage up a very narrow stair case. The room was very small and my wife and I started sneezing almost immediately due to the mould and mildew and the smell of stale smoke. The toilet was raised on a two inch platform that proved to be an excellent place to stub your toes every time one walked into the the bath room. The shower stall and I mean stall was a real treat no room to turn around and very poor water temperature control . Without touching the faucet the temperature would go from comfortable to freezing cold and scolding hot in an instant. The breakfast proved to be a greasy spoon across the street. The host was a treat it was as though we were imposing and the only time he was pleasant and social was when we paid for our stay. There are no amenities in the room no fridge or coffee maker . Although there is a fully equipped kitchen we were not invited to use this area.
