Well located for walking the ceros, clean, quiet with comfortable beds. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was good, with non-ending entertainment watching little kids use the automatic pancake maker.

Beautiful city

Very helpful staff. Decent room. The towels were a little old. Clean. The location was amazing, and the city of Valparaiso is one of the best and most fun to explore in the world.

Handicap washroom in accessible room but room far to small to easily accommodate a wheelchair. Basically clean rooms but require a deep clean as does public washrooms. First mornings breakfast was good but second morning was lacking - no pancakes or pastries.

2 night stay in Valparaiso. Hotel location is fine, on the dock, but not too far to walk anywhere. Was allocated a room on the fifth floor, overlooking the harbour/town, but a club (disco) made noise all night long until 4.00am which made sleep absolutely impossible. Requested a change of room the next morning and was moved within 30 minutes without any hassle. Big room, but absolutely no extras whatsoever, not even a glass I'm the bathroom, and tiny sachets of shampoo. Breakfast just barely ok. Limited hot items, and poor quality juice and coffee. I have given a reasonable score based on being moved rooms without any question, but if that had not happened I think my scoring would have been alot lower.

I chose the IBIS purely on the basis of its central location in the Port of Valparaiso. It was modern, the rooms were large and the staff were extremely helpful, with the added bonus that they spoke English. I read a great deal online about the location and that safety Of the individual was a possible issue . Complete nonsense and I found no evidence of crime. Valparaíso is definitely a no 1 location to visit, not once but deserves another visit as it offers So much in terms of interesting architecture and art.

Overall the Hotel is fine. Now if you plan to include breakfast on your reservation I would like to advice that staff will start removing food 45 minutes before cut off time. Coffee is cold, I requesated some eggs and the kitchen staff was rude Also some of the items are not very fresh,

This hotel was exactly what I expect from an Ibis. Convenient, comfortable, and affordable. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
