First time visit to Auckland

Stayed for 9 days with wife. Have a great time. Good location with 5 min walk to city Center at Queens Street. Will be back and stay again

Good stay

We stayed here for a wedding and opted for the no housekeeping option. The location of the hotel is great and facilities really good, however, our room itself was a bit run down. It was clean though. The only issue we had was there not being enough toiletries or washing liquid to last the week of doing washing up etc. and we had one day where the receptionist (woman) was very unhelpful when we asked for some clean towels / washing liquid to wash towels and she flat out said it wasn't possible. The next day we spoke to a gentleman at reception who was lovely and very helpful though. All in all, other than the one receptionist, it was an enjoyable stay and we would come back.

My stay at Avani was wonderful and couldn’t choose a better place to celebrate my partners birthday! Such beautiful view and pool also gym we will have to do next time we book in.

Highly recommended

We had an issue with the air conditioning and management was quick to address it by moving us to another, slightly nicer, room. Very satisfied overall and I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were pleasant and we were surprised with a bottle of wine and chocolate due to a minor booking issue. The only issue that would prevent us staying there again was the noise from the local bars and restaurants in Chancery Lane. They played really loud music until 4.30am. It was crazy loud which meant I basically go no sleep. We were on the 24th floor so it must have been much worse for lower level. The local council should not permit this. This is no fault of the hotel but that of council.

Great location close to Albert park and queen street. Unfortunately the bar across the road played super loud music until 05:00 on Saturday night which made sleep impossible.! Without that it would have been perfect!

Nice stay

Almost all good except for the noise from a bar or a weekend party. So annoying to hear the noise until 5am.
