Good value for money, well priced for an excellent location and new rooms. Rooms a tad small, but enough room for 2 when we are spending most of our time out of the room.

This was a good value for money hotel to stay in Freo. The staff, especially the manager, were amazing. I really appreciate the complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoon and simple brekky in the morning. A few things to improve though would be cleanliness of the room. We tried the coffee maker and it was dusty, the capsule was also old. The pillows were too soft too, not the usual hotel quality pilows. Lastly, in their youtube channel, they did a demo of how to connect your phone to their Chromecast so I was looking forward to it, but turned out there was no Chromecast. The night manager did not know about it as well. Overall, we had a nice stay. Just a few suggestion for improvements in the future.

Check in was easy and fast, there was a lovely bottle of wine waiting in my room for me! The hotel is beautiful and clean and the location was spot on perfect. Staff were amazing and Helpful.

The Hougamont is a very classy and well-maintained hotel with extremely welcoming staff. It has a stylish lounge with large windows facing the street, and this area also acts as reception, the bar and 'breakfast room'. It is in an absolute downtown (Fremantle) location, although it seemed well-insulated from any noise. The rooms are quite small, but adequate for a short stay - in any case you should be out and about! After hours arrival was capably handled by the night manager. Parking is at a premium, so make sure you check availability with the Hotel.

Best staycation in Fremantle! We had a fantastic experience and staycation at the Hougoumont hotel in Fremantle. We stayed in the State room, it was spacious, well designed and clean. The hotel was classy and tasteful and the little touches like the complimentary wine and cheese hour was excellent. There is also free bike hire if you wish to explore Fremantle that way, but it is within walking distance to the main bars, restaurants and attractions. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Special mention to Mauritzio, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a memorable one. Excellent (and the best) service we have ever received to date. Definitely recommend staying at the Hougoumont. We will be back!
