No staff after 8 to get people to quiet down, they yelling and partying till 2 AM on a Sunday night. Room above us had people who thumped heavy with any footstep. Sounded like a herd of elephants. Missing weatherstripping on door so wind whistling when slider was open.

The night before we had stayed in Seaside and were spoiled by how much we enjoyed that place (same price point.) The check-in person here was unremarkable. Pushed a small piece of paper at us and said here's what you need to know (password, pool hours, etc.) We had a great view of the ocean, with a balcony, but otherwise not much to write home about. Could see stairs to get down to the beach, but could not figure out were the entrance was (no map.) Found the stairs after our walk on the beach. The topside entrance was hidden behind a structure, not very obvious. Pool didn't open until 10 am and check-out was 11, so didn't bother time wise. It closed at 9pm and we were too tired to use it the day we arrived. This place was OK, just not very user friendly.

Beautiful oceanfront view, easy beach access. Building is old but my room was exceptionally clean. Front desk very pleasant and helpful. Gas fireplace made lots of noise and bathroom sink seemed clogged. When I had neighbors I could hear them through thin walls. Price was wonderful.

The fire alarm kept going off even when cooking eggs. That was really annoying. The staff should alert customers about that and how to deal with properly, which was hit the small button on the smoke detector.

Older building but nice inside

The young men that check me in and out were So wonderful. Room was big for having the jetted tub in the best view of ocean from tub. Sleeping area had gas fireplace by looking out the big windows and other sections of room were big enough to put a air mattress in a corner. Down in housing area and viewing point lot by beach. Good time to go find a glass ball on the beach they hide at night along the big Long Beach. Nice little room for coffee and microwave and refrigerator that has a separate freezer and small sink.

Stunning views

Absolutely stunning views of the ocean and beach. Easy access to the beach area. The room was spotless, the fireplace was welcome in January, and I just sat and watched the waves.

Not bad for a motel. Only two complaints, the pool chemicals seemed over powering, and the cleaning lady didn’t replace toilet paper with new rolls. I feel this is essential not only for cleanliness but also with the pandemic it’s prob important that everything from previous guests should be switched out. However, I would visit again.
