This is a hotel with prime sea-front location and well-furnished, decent sized rooms. At check-in I was given a room which had an over-powering smell which I found dis-tasteful. I returned to reception who cheerfully gave me an alternative room, which had the same smell albeit less intense. We surmised it was over-enthusiastically applied cleaning product. the complimentary toiletries were not replenished during my 4 day stay, and the water glasses were not cleaned or replaced. I would expect better. The front of house staff are all very courteous and helpful, but overall I felt this was not particularly good value for money. One does not expect an unpleasant smell in a hotel which costs this much!

The weather in the winter time can be quite rough but in the summer it’s a lovely place

Great place to stay. Even handy if you are doing business in Amsterdam. Stayed here when attending a conference at the RAI Amsterdam. Would stay again.

We booked an ocean view comfort room...the room was just as stated. Lovely sea view and comfortable beds. The room needed air con, we asked for a fan and the reception provided one within 30 minutes. Tea / coffee making facilities in the room would have made the stay just a little bit better, as we like a cup of tea in the evening and didn’t want to go out for it.

Great hotel, located directly on the beach. Great atmosphere, lots of restaurants and activities in the area. Close to the airport as well.

Short but pleasant stay, I will return

the Beach hotel's main attraction is that it is on the beach (beautiful view if you stay on the beach side) and its connection to Hotel Oranje with a swimming pool/sauna, etc. It is dated in many ways (no coffee/tea maker in the rooms since the electricity net cannot take it) but I found it to be quite comfortable and the service impeccable. The walls are not the thickest (can hear people next door) but cannot follow conversations as you can elsewhere. I had a comfort suite; bathroom is quite small, the hand soap the smallest I've ever seen and the wash cloth was made of paper. the other amenities were great however. The rim of the bathtub is quite high; the height may be difficult for those with mobility issues. Very dark furniture. Breakfast was outlandishly expensive; we only took it Sunday morning but it was 23 euros per person. It did have many choices (hot/cold) but was overpriced. The downtown, including a supermarket, of the village is a 5 minutes walk away ; the dunes are 5 minutes in the other direction. We will definitely stay there again (but take breakfast elsewhere). Restaurant Dutch was great : excellent food, service excellent

The rooms are dated and small (heavy dark furniture ) with little room between the desk and bed. Beds are very low but comfortable. the staff will move two beds together and make one bed, which sleeps much better. I appreciated the balcony and beach view. Breakfast although good, is overpriced. Staff is very professional and helpful. I would stay here again!
