The friendly staff was great. My room had mosquitoes bad the first night. The next morning they came and sprayed. The hotel had no water for two days from 8a-5p. The restaurant has the best pizza but that’s it.

Unsatisfied

No bellman service at check in. The room has a very fragrant scent, which was overwhelming. The bed was SUPER noisy and squeezed at every move. The tv Channels were mostly in Spanish. So please bring your devices to be entertained. No smart tv. And for two days there were no water for an extended time, because of this we had to cancel dinner plans and stayed in. On the positive side. The pool was nicely maintained, the other amenities in the villa was nice. The staff was friendly. I am not sure I would come back though.

This property is an excellent choice for a relaxing sabbatical. We stayed 8 days which was out first time at St. Kitts/Nevis. July is the slow season and we had the beach to our selves for the most part. We rented a car so we were able to explore the island. Room service everyday in this nice 2 bedroom condo with 2 baths. We could use the kitchen which was fully supplied or not. The Yatchsman Grill is on property but run by someone else. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner excellent. All people at the property, restaurants and Villas were there always available if we needed anything. The island is a peaceful, safe and beautiful place without typical tourist trappings. You can rent a car as we did and go to St. Kitts to explore that island. Again, the main entertainment was great restaurants. The ferry across was old world on a WWII troop carrier. I had the $100.00 round trip fare blow out of my pocket without knowing One of the workers caught it and gave it back to me. The ferry had some bad reviews but don't believe them. They are obviously people who have not traveled and expect everything to be like home. Think Island time and relax for real.

Disappointed in size of bedrooms and baths

The location was great, check-in was easy, great restaurant on property, and a nice beach. The issue is that when you rent a two bedroom villa that has over 1500 square feet you don't expect to find bedrooms that are so tiny that one has a queen bed and room for only one nightstand, and the other has a full bed and room for only 1 nightstand. The bathrooms were also so tiny that there was no room to put toiletries and the second bedroom did not have the bathroom connected. The greatroom with the kitchen was obviously hugh and had lots of wasted space.

The rooms, beach and restaraunt were all excellent. Only thing that we did not like is the lack of activities available. There were no basketball courts, tennis courts or any kayaks, hobiecats or anything to even rent out at the facility.

We were so happy with The Hamilton. We were well taken care of before we even left our house - airport/island transfers arranged, offer of stocking our kitchen, and coordination of a few island activities. Upon arrival we were escorted to our villa, where we found top notch appliances, everything we needed and the place was spotless! Beach location is ideal (clean beach, beautiful sunsets), pools are very nice and David was so helpful in arranging anything we needed throughout our stay. We had originally booked The Hamilton for just a few nights, while opting to split our vacation between it and a property on St. Kitts. We were so impressed with The Hamilton that we cancelled our other reservation and extended our stay. We never had a problem finding beach chairs/umbrellas, there were fresh beach towels every day, and everyone at the property was friendly. We had a lunch and breakfast at the on-site restaurant (The Yachtsman) and found several great dining options within walking distance (Indian Summer and Chrishi Beach Club); others are a short drive away (Lime, Sunshines, Turtle Time). I was a bit nervous after reading reviews that noted construction activity at the resort, and although we did see work being done, it in no way impacted our stay.

Family stay @ Hamilton Villas

Wonderful stay at the Hamilton Villas for my family including 3 kids! David was beyond helpful in booking our transfers & a rental car. The beach was beautiful & very secluded. The restaurant is one of the best on the island. Overall a fantastic vacation!

The pool is not good. It has no place to sit other than a few lounge chairs in the pool. It is not user friendly. If you have kids who will want to use the pool it may be difficult for parents. The beach is beautiful. It would be nice if they provided a few toys, such as kayaks, floats or noodles. Yachtsman Grill is excellent both food and drinks. Staff at bar is very friendly, see you next year Wallace! Dave the man in charge of resort/complex could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Gym is small but if you are compelled to exercise it is fine and the equipment is in good shape.. Condo unit was in great shape and seemed like it had all new appliances. All in all a very nice place with a good central location. Great sunsets.
