Good location and friendly staff. Very good choice for a stop overnight.

Good location, reasonable price. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Lively bar area and although small lobby had the TV on which was welcome after exhausting day touring. W enjoyed the hot tubs outside .

Reservation through Expedia with horrible experience.When I made the reservation, I typed in the reservation was for 4 people, and the room type showed as "studio for 4 people." But after I paid and noticed there was an "extra guests charge" of $68! I didn't add any more people to my reservation. Why was there extra charge? And then I sent email inquiry and made phone calls with Expedia's people to request refund of $68 for "extra guests" and they said they would contact the Hotel about the issue. However, after at least 6 email correspondences and multiple phone calls. Expedia said the hotel rejected to refund the "extra guests" fee. So I decided to directly figure it out when we arrive there. Today when we checked out (only 2 adults and 1 child lived in), I raised the same question again and they pushed back to ask me to contact Expedia again. I showed the front desk the 6 emails from Expedia and then they asked me to send an email to their infor@stractahotels.is, very exhausted experiences! Before you pay, make sure to check whether there is extra guests fee. The only good thing about the hotel is the outdoor hot spa which is open till 24am. The rooms are manufactured rooms just like motel rooms. We got a sofa bed and two single beds, way too small.

Our stay was overall OK. We did love having the hot tub open.

Upon checkin, I was surprised that I had already been billed. This was not what I had signed up for when making my reservation with Expedia. The response was that I was inside the cancellation window so they automatically bill. This was the second location that I had booked to do this.

This place was amazing, really enjoyed the service and will stay again definitely.

Nice hotel, great food in restaurant and easy parking. Room was nice and everything you would expect.

The property is a great stopping place with two saunas and hot tubs, a small comfortable bar area and a comfortable but basic room. The food was very good and the staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. They do, evidently, host a lot of tour groups. It’s along the main highway along the south and there’s not too much around.
