Return stay. Super quiet guests

I used to enjoy coming to this motel 6 as an avid motel 6 guest. However, the last two times I've stayed it has been extremely dirty. I was switched rooms for cleanliness reasons and I'm not sure which was worse the initial room or the second room. Needless to say it'll be the last time I stay at this motel 6.

decent hotel for the price, being refurbished

I checked in on friday, 1/29/21 with my chopper, and my cat BB. On SUNDAY, 1/31/21 I reached toward a Bible under the nightstand in my room only to discover TWO used NEEDLES behind the bible!!!! Shocked, I went to the office as my key cards were also inoperable, even tho my check out was 2/1/21. I explained to the Desk about the used needles and the danger that it imposed, as I do have a pet with me. I was advised to tell the Manager at check out 2/1/21. No one came to remove the biohazard at all. On Monday 2/1/21, I spoke to the manager who seemed to not only disregard the seriousness of my concerns during this pandemic, but seemed more concerned that my previous reviews for motel 6, rolling meadows, were unfavorable to the motel, and that was her only focus. I had to literally show her the pictures. She reluctantly then called the staff who supposedly inspected the room, and questioned him. He stated that he did not see the needles either, as he was concentrating on making sure all things were working in the room. I was further insulted, and offered $10 back. No concern for customer safety was mentioned. No mention that staff will actually do their job and clean surfaces in the rooms. Had they done that, all garbage in a room should be discharged before re-renting a room. I feel disgusted. They don't take the work seriously. Some of us just want a safe, clean place for the night. I will NOT submit a favorable review unless my stay is favorable. PEROID!!

The staff here is always amazing and go above and beyond. For someone like me that travels a lot this is always a welcoming place to come to. The biggest downfall this property has is the cleanliness.

I got the same room as the previous week. I could not un-see the stains on the floor, the icing from a cake I brought last week on the headboard, nor the bathroom ceiling stains from a multitude of showers.

This stay was ok.

Except for the noisy neighbors with loud kids, the staff brought an ashtray to this smoking room which had none. Maids never came to see if anything (soap, or toilet paper) was needed for a three day stay! Had to track one down. Paying customers should not have to track maids down for hotel-provided courtesy items, which are included in the price.

I asked for an ashtray in this smoking room upon arrival and was told that one would be brought to me. The previous guest left ashes where clean towels are left. (Photos) I stayed 4 nights and NEVER got an ashtray promised by the front desk. Fortunately I found my own ashtray.
