I loved this hotel - The main room and the bathroom both were much more spacious than I had expected. The bed extremely comfortable, water pressure and quality in the bathroom excellent, and no noise from outside or surrounding rooms. The service was fantastic - they went out of their way to make me feel welcome, answer all of my questions, and provide great personalized recommendations with no language barriers whatsoever. Thank you for supporting my wonderful visit! Note that the adjoining restaurant works with the hospitality school next door, so some of their staff are still learning (but very nice!).

fantastic customer experience from the hotel staff - you are given a mobile phone linked to the hotel so you can contact them if you are struggling , it links to where you are and gives you info .the hotel is spotless .. we did have a couple of issues around breakfast which I have taken up with the hotel directly . the hotel is approx. 10 minutes away from most of the main parts of Porto and approx. 30 minutes from the River area although ubers are cheap enough

In the hotel lobby it says "The art of welcoming " which the Artist Hotel are very good at. On check in I was offered a glass of port wine and a traditional Portuguese custard tart called Nata both very welcome after my journey. The receptionist also spent a lot of time explaining where all the best places to visit were. The hotel was spotlessly clean. It is in a quiet street about 10 minutes walk from main part of town. I was given a large double room even though I was there on my own. The staff were friendly and attentive and keen to help. Breakfast was good with other choices in addition to the continental breakfast. My only negative was on one of the days I returned to the hotel after 9pm wet and hungry but was unable to get any food at the hotel even though the bar was empty and only a handful of people in the restaurant. Porto is a beautiful city well worth a visit.

Great hotel bistro and location!

Great hotel bistro and location 5 mins walk to centre but quiet. Bistrô is a MUST for lunch! Helpful and awesome staff u r greeted with a traditional sweet and port from the region. Would definitely go back to this hotel.

Great staff, location & room size

Front desk staff was very helpful in giving us directions and understanding how the restaurant functioned. The location of the hotel is very close to the downtown area but also quiet. Just be prepared to walk up hills! The rooms are very large by European standards and very comfortable. The bathroom was especially roomy!!

Spent 3 nights here. Very nice hotel run by eager hospitality students. Walking distance to many attractions and public transit. Recommended.
