Good location for arriving by train. Short walk to old town shopping etc

Very good staff and recently refurbished hotel. Excellent value for money. Only 4 tram stops to the centre of Prague. Worth a stay.

Nice hotel close to the downtown area. The only negative for us was that the bathroom was essentially see through (with glass doors) and the drainage for the shower was not very good, so when you took a shower, the entire floor of the bathroom (including the area by the sink and toilet) got very wet.

I was staying just for one night to visit center of Bambark. Location is good. Hotel is not so confortable as some resorts for vacation.

Location was key to hotel selection. Had reserved small double room but this room was too small to be called a double.

Hotel National is conveniently located in downtown Bamberg. Easy walking distance to the charming old city. The hotel is older which means it has character and not quite as comfortable as a newer hotel. Overall good value for the money.

Excellent place and lovely stay i would recommend the room

This is an old and not well maintained hotel with terrible decor. The bathroom had very ugly tiles and no shower curtains so the water splashed all over the bathroom and everything in it. The sink was clogged for most of the time despite complaints. Cleaning was poor. There was a stain on a table that wasn’t removed for 4 days and the bathroom cleaning was poor as well. No AC and no fridge and room was very hot and loud. They gave us a fan but it didn’t do much. The whole experience was poor with the room really ugly with old curtains and broken blinds and the bathroom with tiles from the 70s. Even the few food items they offered in the room (nuts, pretzels) were after the expiration date. Staff was excellent though!

i knew i had booked a small double room, but did not expect a cupboard! the room was about 18" bigger than the bed. stayed 5 nights, sheets not changed. think the bathroom was minimum clean as nothing seemed to have been moved, only towels changed. hanging area for clothes left about 15" to walk past. have seen bigger bathrooms
