The perfect location

The hotel is the perfect location in Kaohsiung just at the Art pier. Only thing missing is a swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and the bed is really good. The staff is very helpful and speak impeccable English. just beside the Hotel is a convenience store. Due to Covid the breakfast was served at the room either chinese or western. Not the best breakfast, but enough to be full. This is out second stay at this hotel and we always choose to pay a bit extra to get the harbour view. Evening view is incredible and it is very quite. Aircondition works like a charm and adequate number of electrical outlets. Wifi could be better, not good enough for streaming and there wasn't that many guests at the hotel.

The roo was the "Atrium" type and on the small size. The Harbour view rooms are a better size.

Great value

Very nice clean conveniently located hotel by Pier 2. Convenience store next door has limited options.

Very accessible location. And the strict policy of temperature testing each guest each day . But the breakfast buffet selection too much but not really up to expectation. Would be good if having quality selection of food.

I stay here for two nights with my husband. Room is big and clean. The blow dryer was very weak. I have long hair, it takes up 20 minutes in order to blow dry my hair. No microwave in the room. The hotel gives out voucher for late snack dinner. But nothing much to eat and the line to get food is super long. Ask for a comforter for my sick husband and waited one hour. No body came and had to call front desk again.

A worthwhile stay in City Suites

Our stay in City Suites was pleasing and we love the cleanliness. But the elevator is a little dark compared to others. Also, there is a pungent smell along the hallway right after the elevator on the 7th floor. The caulking in the bathroom needs to be renewed. Has molds already.

The supper was horrible but the staff presented themselves well and provided great service , they also have washing machines which is good and their beds were big and comfy also the tv had many great channels to watch shows when bored in the hotel, but the toilet is really small. Overall quite good but can be better!

Good choice

The room is huge! We are a family of 3 but room meant for 4, tho we think they can add another extra bed to make it 6 comfortably. Beds are queen size not just double. Bed is ok. But not firm. Pillows were more than enough but it's a mix of fluffy and not nice pillows, so we had to choose. We had a problem with the air vent.couldnt adjust it as it is high up and fixed near the ceiling. It was on my face the whole night so I had a hard time sleeping. Asked for additional blankets. It helped. Location was great tho! Light rail train is just on hotel's right side which took us almost anywhere. You can explore using the mrt stations too but it's a bit of a walk . There are two city suites and I'm glad we picked the right one. This is closer to Pier 2 and has a more artistic vibe. Even the lights of the building at night matches the pier 2 vibe. There's always a taxi outside. We didn't have any problem getting to the airport. It cost us NT 60 cheaper than Uber's NT 350 quote.
