Amazing Wanaka accommodation

We loved our stay at this B&B in Wanaka. It is located at the base of Mount Iron, which means you don't need to drive to the Mount Iron Track. It is also a very convenient drive to the town centre and the views from the apartment are amazing. The apartment is well-appointed and designed for comfort and coziness -- it truly feels like home. The owners' hospitality is the perfect combination of warmth and discretion. They make you feel like they are never far away, while giving you the space to enjoy the property. The bathroom (hard to tell from the photos) is large, modern and clean. The kitchenette is adequate for preparing light meals (the only thing is that you need to use the bathroom sink and no stovetop/hot plate -- not a big deal). The best part is they do the dishes for you -- truly pampering! If you want a break from hotels and basic accommodations -- and a little taste of home on your trip -- stay here.

A beautiful getaway

We stayed at the Loft for 2 nights to attend a wedding in the Wanaka region. We are a late-20's couple from Australia who are well traveled and find it hard to compare where we have received such good service and facilities internationally. Pieta and Ian were the perfect hosts; a well equipped loft with all the touches of home. Pieta was so generous with her knowledge of Wanaka, where to eat, drink, what to do. The catering to the loft was beautiful; fresh cookies on arrival and the most indulgent of breakfasts each morning. We loved the little touches like home made frittata or quiche, a selection of breads and yoghurts. The facilities are clean, new and completely comfortable. We chose to spend a morning relaxing instead of exploring the beautiful surrounds, and that's saying something as to how wonderful the facilities are! Our only regret is that we couldn't spend longer! Thank you Pieta and Ian. We can't wait to visit again!

Home from Home

Pieta and Iain are magnificent hosts who pay great attention to detail and take great care with their guests' requirements. The property is not on the lake and is a little way out of town but they supply bikes free of charge and are willing to run guests to dinner, etc. Also Pieta's personal touches to the breakfast menu were greatly appreciated. All in all a great place to stay in Wanaka; a small town with scenery as good as Queenstown but with none of the crowds.

Memorable experience

We stayed at the wonderful 'loft' B and B for 3 nights for our wedding upon coromandel peak. From the moment we arrived, Pieta and Ians hospitality and professionalism shone - each and every detail, from the thoughtful black board messages and homemade gronola to offering her photography skills and talking our wedding photos in their beautiful garden. 'The loft' is a one of a kind B and B, it is clear both Pieta and Ian enjoy making every moment a special one for each of their guests. The room is very spacious, has modern stylish fittings and a beautiful light and homely feel. Wonderful memories - wonderful people : )

Perfect B&B

The best B&B we have ever been to, my wife and I got married in Lake Wanaka in April and Pieta made us extremely welcome with a wonderful place. You essentially get your own living space, with living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen detached from their house so it has all the privacy you will ever need, and with a fantastic and well-maintained garden, me and my wife had amazing wedding photos (thanks to Pieta). Everything was perfect, no flaws at all. If you want to get away from it all and enjoy the best B&B in the world, this is the place.

Realxing getaway

Perfect place for a relaxing getaway! Situated in a quiet part of Wanaka but still close enough to walk to town for a coffee! Excellent apartment completely separate from the owners house. Walking and biking tracks are right outside the door.
