Tingum Village is an amazing secret! Well located in walkable distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. The budget-friendly accommodations allow guests to enjoy the "rich and famous" island in a laid-back location run by amazing staff. Juanita will take great care of you and can arrange a multitude of services (Golf cart rentals, beach bonfire, boat trip, and more). Highly recommend!

Absolutely AWESOME stay!! The only problem we had was that we truly wished we could have stayed longer. Everything was great from beginning to end. Felt like home away from home...so welcoming! The staff was super friendly and inviting. The property was a tucked away gem and it felt like we were with family. The roosters crowing took a little getting used to, but in no time they were like old friends too! We would most definitely be planning another trip in the future and Tingum Village will be our home away from home. Thank you so much Juanita and the entire staff!

I was only planning to stay on Harbor Island for 1 night.. which is all I originally booked. I ended up staying 6 more nights! Wanita, the owner, is the most amazing, kind, and professional human ever. She was fixing golf carts, serving drinks, helping every guest do what they want to do, worked on air conditioners, internet .. you name it, she does it. I was in total awe of how she runs her guesthouse, which has been in her family for generations. You can not get better local hospitality, than what Wanita offers at Tingum Village. Wanita, I love ya... and you will be seeing me again (soon)!

This place was so unique, so welcoming and so warm, it felt like a home away from home. It was my first time in the Bahamas and Juanita and her whole family are more like family than staff. They help you whenever you need, are always smiling and truly represent the island way of life. When I couldn't find my key, the handy man dropped everything to find a copy and let me in so I could get ready for the wedding I was attending. Best breakfast sandwiches too! Tingnum was also the party place to be in the evenings, where I met so many visitors and locals. It was so fun! I actually want to go back just to visit this place. I had a suite which had a kitchenette, AC, a lovely balcony and a large tub and price was great especially compared to the resorts on the island, easily almost half the price. The scenery was beautiful, green, lush and serene. I didn't get wifi much in the room but I prefer it that way on vacation and could just walk down to check my phone if I needed to. It was a 10 minute walk from Pink Sands/Coral sands so I didn't rent a cart and got around just fine. You'll love the vibe here, highly recommend!

Juanita And Tracy was a breath of fresh air after a long trip. I felt like a family member coming to visit. I came for a wedding and had friends all over the island but felt most home with those amazing ladies. I am so sorry I wasn’t able to say bye to Tracy (but my girl was doing yoga but hope so see you again love) the hotel was clean, air was freezing, the food was great, the bar was even better! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in the Bahamas.
