The building and settings are all so unique and beautiful. View is great. Service was awesome. So close to Joomoonjin fish market and ocean. We did not plan to go to Joomoonjin but ended up loving the fish market and restaurants there. Gangneung Kyungpodae is 15 minute away too. Our kids and we all loved everything there. We are looking forward to the letter that our kids wrote being delivered one year later. 호텔 너무 이뻐서 놀랐고 서비스 좋아서 놀랐어요. 강릉인줄 알고 예약했는데 사실 주문진이 더 가깝고 강릉도 무지 가까와서 좋았어요. 주문진 수산시장속 횟집 넘 맛나고 경포대도 가까와 하루 묶고 떠나기 아쉬웠습니다. 일년뒤 도착할 편지가 기대되네요.

Simply lovely!

My family and I stayed 2 nights at November. We were totally awed by the beauty of this place upon arrival and immediately i hoped that I had more time to stopover Gangwon Do. Kang was there to welcome us when we arrived. Both Kang and his staff helped us with our baggages as we have quite alot of bags. Really thankful for that. We drove 5hrs from Busan and was really exhausted by the time we reached November. Kang’s warm reception and refreshments touched our hearts. He was eager to share with us where to visit and also given us some info with regards to the location of the attractions so that we could plan our itinerary better. We had a huge room with great views and waking up to fresh air and views was a plus point. Like what other reviews have mentioned, breakfast was delicious! Both korean and western options. I especially like the korean breakfast, soup was really refreshing and tasty! There is a huge lounging area next to the lobby too, with a foosball table for recreation. I must say the entire place was very well decorated and soft music was played outdoors. It makes the pension feel very romantic. My 5 year old daughter loves the pension too! She was running around everyday, awed by the building structure and the views. And also, she would ask for Uncle Kang everyday while we were there too! Goes to show how warm and friendly Kang is! We will sure be back to visit again in the near future! Thank you Kang and your staff for the warm hospitality!

Very nice!

Stayed for one night for Paralympic. It was a beautiful place with great ocean view and nice breakfast. Would highly recommend if you are traveling to eastern side of Korea

Second visit

It was our second visit to November after a year from first one. Local area is small and quiet, room was clean with enormous tub (choose JY type) and great view -- it's a perfect romantic getaway for couples.

Nice place with a fabulous view!

Although difficult to find (at night), this hotel was well worth the search. The staff greeted my family with lots of smiles and treated us like royalty. They brought fresh hot chocolate to our room as a welcome and cooked us a wonderful, fresh breakfast in the morning! The manager personally met us in the morning to welcome us and thanked us for staying. The Hotel November is awesome!!
