Very clean. Friendly staff. Didn't get the full water view, only partial.

The view of the room was nice but the towel was dirty. The bed super a uncomfortable. The pool was dirty with dirty towel. Very bad service. I am not recommended to anyone.

All good,one small glitch given shuttle didn’t show up but there were plenty of taxis. Convenient location,mini mart downstairs in next building, close to the areas best beach with a good Italian restaraunt overlooking same...two new restaraunts about to open beside said Italian. massive Chinese development Hotel/casino and one more large hotel beside that about to open which will crowd the small beach so probably building another beach too. Good breakfast omelette....we didn’t feel threatened though the security every where must tell you something about increasing crime in town

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The roof top swimming pool was amazing.

The hotel had excellent WiFi but was missing shoe shining cloth and hand soap. The boxes were there but empty. It was generally overpriced in my opinion. The included breakfast was ok but not exceptional. There was no room service menu in my room. The rooftop pool and hottub were cold and appeared dirty. Check in took 45 minutes. Bed uncomfortable. Could feel the springs in the mattress

It's so bad that the night when we arrived, we had to change the room, because of the brown water and no hot water !!!!!!!!!!!!! The management is so bad that they didn't care about my money and they were laughing behind my back !!!! Because of the bad conditions of the room me and my wife went away of the hotel!!! They didn't return my money because ... SO BAD !!! SO BAD !!!! PLEASE DON'T GO THERE !!! Also ebookers.ie was not so professional... One month as passed and i don't hae the invoice !!!!!!!!!!!!! BAD SERVICE !!! I will never use ebookers.ie again !!!!!! Also this hotel ... is very beautiful feom the outside... inside ... IT'S BAD !!!

If you ever visit Praia, Hotel VIP is the place, no kidding.

My sister and I who are Cape Verdean (from another island) decided to treat ourselves the last few nights of our stay in the capital. Hotel VIP Praia was the perfect choice. It was relatively reasonable regarding price and had all of the amenities that we were looking for include WiFi, a pool, dining options, double beds, etc. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating and the breakfast was the absolute best! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Overall you get really what you pay for the staff is helpfull the location superb the access to local shopping and restaurants are excellent
