Everything was possible with such nice people that work at this boutique hotel. Spaciius quiet rooms, good breakfast, nice area near Rd. 9, what's not to like?

Very quiet neighbourhood. I enjoyed the peace and garden. Spent morning by poolside. Had lunch in restaurant was good. Walk to road 9 for breakfast and dinner. Service could be friendlier. I had done all my sightseeing staying in the city. Hence moved to this hotel otherwise will be a distance from most of the sights. It’s ok to the pyramids.

If you are looking for a different experience to the usual chain hotels, then I highly recommend Villa Belle Epoque. It's located in a peaceful part of Maadi but easily walkable to local amenities and the metro, although the street is quite hard for taxis to navigate. Once inside, it feels so tranquil and has a beautiful garden and pool area. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and have plenty of character, although are not modern. The air con worked well and my room had a balcony and nespresso machine etc. The only issues were that my shower had no hot water in the mornings (it worked fine in the afternoons, but not very practical) and that the wifi didn't work well on my Apple devices (staff were aware and did their best to help on both occasions). Despite those minor issues, I would definitely return - it's a unique and charming hotel and a proper oasis in the chaos of Cairo.

Its a pleasant change to find an old fashioned hotel these days. This felt like staying in a country house hotel but in Cairo. The ground floor hosts drawing rooms reminiscent of country houses, heavy ornate furniture, black and white photos in silver frames The bedroom I had was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was in good condition with 1020's style fittings The pool is nice and it is really pleasant sitting by the pool as the sun goes down The service at the restaurant is pleasant but a bit muddled The food is reasonable Overall a very pleasant experience

Staff was outstanding and friendly. I was even invited to watch an engagement ceremony at the hotel as the staff saw that I was interested as a foreigner. These kind of gestures make a vacation.

The location is absolutely perfect in Maadi! The facilities are beatiful and so easy to walk the neighborhood.

Nice place, very charming, good location, helpful staff. But aggressive overcharging for breakfast left a bad taste in the mouth.
