We weren't sure about this hotel because of the reviews but decided to try it anyways. And it was amazing!! Friendly staff, most beautiful view.

Amazing views of the bay, very easy to park, average breakfast and no wifi in rooms. Great stay for a night!

Bad, bad night. Toilet ran all night, no one answered at desk to help, room was below lobby, heard laughing, talking, high heals, foot steps and more most of the night. Owner, who was nice enough, said we should expect noises in a place like this. Well, I expect to sleep in a hotel, and had a hard time doing it here. Too bad since it’s in a beautiful spot overlooking the Mediterranean. Would never go back. Sorry.

No internet !!!!. Buildings are out dated. The location is very good. Specially the view is amazing. The biggest prob km em us No Internet.

The Hotel Mega Mare was an enjoyable stay with incredible views. It’s offers free parking and is close to Sorrento, Meta and not too far from Positano. The only downfall is the wifi is only accessible in public areas eg upstairs near reception and the pool area not in your room. Other than that small set back it was a enjoyable for three nights I stayed there.

The view from the hotel was spectacular. Our room was quite nice, although the showers are really small and there is no real restaurant at or near the facility - drinks and small snacks are available. It's a really nice hotel overall with a nice pool and the staff were willing to do whatever they could to make us happy. The biggest drawback is the fact that the towns nearby are hard to navigate and have next to no parking available if you do find shopping or restaurants you'd like to check out.

The view is better than the pictures. People actually drive up to hangout and take pictures at a viewpoint a couple steps from our hotel. So it was pretty cool we had the view from our balcony the whole stay. The pool is also nice but we spent most of our time on the go and only had about 20min to use it as it’s only open from 11am - 7pm. The service was OK. I’d say they come off friendly for the most part. My favorites were Marco and Gio (was kinda bummed he only works one day a week, he was so helpful and patient with us). I will say that they kinda make you feel as though anything you ask is an inconvenience to them haha. We used the car service every day (the lady who does it was the sweetest ever!) but because we kept asking for that, more towels, ice to the room, etc they kinda got condescending with us which became our lil running joke bc even like at a motel 6 (1 star) in Texas they’ll give you infinite towels haha. Also, the shower really is 2’ by 2’ which was hilarious as my bf is 6’6 250. I will say you make up for the cost in paying for car service (40 a day) vs just staying at a more pricy place in Sorrento. If you are just trying to base yourself in Sorrento for a few nights, you can feel secure in paying the extra $. If you want this view though, it is worth it.

Views and pool are amazing but location, facilities, comfort, breakfast and customer service are average.

Beautiful location, staff very kind and helpful. We were allowed stay longer at the pool which was greatly appreciated.

Horrible bed, so hard and uncomfortable. Terrible breakfast (same thing EVERY day and extremely poor quality). Staff monitor your every move, and there are so many rules (for example: no external food allowed in the bedroom, have to give your room key back to reception whenever you leave so they can turn your aircon off). The "towles" are like restaurant napkins. A hostel has better ammenities. The view and the pool are the only thing worth going there for. Would NEVER go back here !!!
