Peaceful honeymoon

My husband and I stayed here for a night during our honeymoon in Portugal. We did a road trip through the country, so really appreciated this peaceful and serene stop for the night. We literally woke to the sound of birds chirping! The included breakfast was also divine, as was the couple's massage we splurged for in the cave. Overall the service was great. My only suggestion is that I wish the hotel had done something a bit special to acknowledge our honeymoon or even offered ideas of things we could plan to make the trip unique. All the other hotels we stayed at across Portugal offered a little treat or upgrade to make our stay feel extra special, and based on the type of hotel that Luz is, I was a bit surprised they didn't personalize things. Other than that though, we had a great time!

The Best

My wife and I are renewing our wedding vows in the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Fatima. Luz Charming was the perfect place to spend the night, we wished we could’ve stayed two nights instead of one. Probably the best boutique hotel we’ve ever been! The reception service is outstanding, the service at the restaurant even better. The hotel personnel are all friendly and willing to help in anything we wanted. The property is beautiful and full of splendid details. A truthfully peaceful place. I sincerely recommend it.

Amazing stay!

All the staff were absolutely lovely. The property was simply beautiful. One of our most unique experiences whilst traveling. Attention to detail was superb.

Lovely hotel and staff!

I took my parents to Fatima for a pilgrimage and their 50th anniversary, and booked rooms at Luz Charming Houses. Unfortunately due to flight delays, we were unable to stay as planned. We still wanted to see Fatima and the chapel so we drove directly there after landed at the airport. The staff at Luz was so kind to allow us to freshen up and even held our luggage so that we wouldn’t have to keep it in the car (to avoid theft). They were so polite and helpful. We will definitely stay here if we ever have a chance to return to Fatima.
