Rainbows at rainbow motel

The unit was brand new, huge and gorgeous. The bathroom was huge too. The bed was very hard which is great if that’s what you like, but we’ve been spoilt with softer beds. The service was a little too friendly; I prefer quiet enjoyment.

It’s brand new, well set out. Nice kitchen, good water pressure in the shower. Parking is a little awkward but everyone fits in.

It's very small. The bathroom door wouldn't even close!! Bed wasn't comfortable and was noisy with ever movement. But the electric blanket kept us warm.

Rainbow Motel

This is a non-smoking Motel. However, the guest next to my room kept smoking throughout the night. The smoke came into my room through the adjoining door.

On a main highway

Although noisy from the traffic, it was convenient for travelling to places along the Kings Highway. I would prefer a cleaner hotel, but I was out most of the day. It was a short car ride to Queanbeyan and the shops and there was a petrol station and Post Office nearby.

OK for the price

Typical budget motel. A little run down but comfortable. I was surprised there was not more road noise - windows were double glassed.

Cheaper, Basic, Dated but Comfy Motel

Motel Room has everything you need for a short stay and things works satisfactorily. One bedside light not functioning - no problem. Comfy bed. Motel is on King's Highway but no noise problems. Only worrying issue was dirty plastic cup in bathroom in toothbrush fitting. Dead insect and dirt from a few weeks ago possibly.

Overnight stay for ski trip

Nice cheap and clean accommodation. Worked well to break up the trip from central coast to the ski fields.
