I’m still here on my second rebooking since the initial - a second time around. And although my current options have been limited in the effect of a global pandemic albeit my tolerance generally high, if I didn’t want to be here - I wouldn’t. Instead I’m comfortable enough with the staff attentive and considerate. Regards

If ever by challenge over short term necessity you’ve stayed at either or both from The Sunbright Hotel, SoHo, New York for three nights to Nomads Brisbane Hostel for five months because stranded from your home town thus friends/family over a global pandemic. Or left to deal with my last Airbnb “hosts” and so it happened vile examples of humanity, most places are heavenly by comparison. Thus in the layers of heaven, the ibis Budget Windsor Brisbane fits somewhere in the middle, as does a sandwich ingredient. I’m still here, typing this review over my third week in extension from my first, after all. But with the Victorian boarder having re opened only three days ago, now on the other side of Winter, Melbourne, my said home, is fast moving from memory to just behind my eyes. Enjoyed the king size bed! Shower was a little small but functional.

What was unique - 1.no lift - two 69 year olds and a disabled son. 2. the kettle would not fit under the bathroom tap.... had to use a paper cup to get water for jug. Are they joking - the toilet would not flush so he showed my husband what to do if it happens again. Do not expect anything more than a bed!!

Close to hospital. Good room for price, basic but comfy bed.

Quite the place for drunks and junkies. Sketchy people, small rooms and previous guests stuff found under the mattress. Found some pills of some sort in a hidden hole that was obviously drugs. The bed takes up the whole room so not a lot of space to move around.

Not so good. Its okay for a dodgy one night stand else not good. Didn't feel safe parking my car as there was a jonkie hustling me. Well, it was 69 bucks so cant complain much

Mattress was heavily stained, kettle had mould in it, shelf milk for tea and coffee was off and clumped in the tea cup, only half a toilet roll was provided. However, the staff were great we needed 1 night refunded and there were no questions asked they also refunded the pre purchased breakfast due to COVID-19. Overall a 3 star.
