Good location, but on a pedestrian street & in p.m. taxi may drop you a block away. Nearby Gran Via & Puerta del Sol are very busy. Room was smallish & had a window only to a small interior atrium. HVAC had a constant hum. Free minibar was nice. We didn’t eat breakfast-there are cheaper, quicker simple options nearby including Tim Hortons (heresy, I know). Metro stations are nearby, but many sights are easily walkable but you’ll need your map. Safe good. Housekeeping okay but often late in the day. We had a good rate & thought it was a decent value. Plenty of restaurants nearby as is El Cortes Ingles.

Very nice hotel in the historical center of Madrid! Walking distance to all important monuments. Nice room, quite and clean. Complimentary minibar. Good Wifi in the room. The only thing I did not expected to see in my bill is the surcharge for local calls. At this point I expected the local calls to be free. Oh well! Other than that, excellent stay!

Excellent hotel!

They put us in room right next to a room that was being remodeled. We were there 5 nites. There was banging on the wall and smoking from the workers. My husband had just come in from a 14 hour flight. When we complained they gave us a bowl of fruit☹️. Not the kind of customer service you expect from a “4 star hotel.”
