Jungle in the city

Stay was pleasant. The large privacy screen around pool from adjoining property was annoying but not the fault of the hotel. Unfortunately this screen wrapped around some other parts of the hotel too....so 117 & 118 two bed suites essentially have all natural light blocked out, as this solid privacy screen is about 12 inches from the hotel exterior. They do have two other 2 bed suites without this issue. For our 4 night stay we were first allocated 118 and could only be moved to another 2 bed suite (with natural light) the next day. The hotel should not allocate these light-less rooms unless they have specifically sold them as 'no window' rooms, which is pretty much what they are. That said, the rooms were well furnished in a funky way. If you don't mind not having any natural light, 117 or 118 two bed suites are great. But for the price, you'd expect to have natural light in these suite rooms....or reduce the price! Pool area and menu good. Interesting and varied teas available. Breakfast ok with usual buffet style of mixed bagatelle. Night porter had some interesting questions for my Khmer wife when we came back late from a night out. He caught on pretty quick and apologised. Would probably stay here again if could guarantee what room we'd be getting for sure. Staff brilliant, friendly, helpful and efficient.

We got the suite room (with 2BR and 2 toilets). It's ok but the rooms are a bit dated including the keys used (no room cards). Breakfast is a thumbs up with good enough choices. Service crew are really good esp their communication skills compared to other hotels in PP. Price is affordable. Location is really central, very near Independence Monument (walkable). Massage is ok (taken inside a spa room). Overall, a cozy place with a garden in the middle of a busy city.

The rooms, although not ostentatious, catered to all our needs, which, accompanied by the excellent service, made it an excellent stay. The small touches, such as the complimentary local tea varieties, tea set, and the lotus blossom in the bathroom just served to make the experience even more memorable.

Good location. Staff was nice. Breakfast was ok. Lobby was spacious and beautiful. Towels and bed sheets had stains. Faucet in the bathroom was loose.

A little oasis as you walk through the front doors, very tranquil. Bedroom was small but perfectly formed, everything you need, plenty of lounging areas in the communal areas, lovely breakfast, good coffee lovely staff, fast response to requests

A forgettable stay

There were mosquitoes in the room & I was bitten on the 1st night. The lighting in the room is poor. They sprayed insecticide in the room after I complained about the numerous bites that I had. The hotel does not provide toiletries and they did not have a shower cap when I requested for it. Amenities in the room are very basic. The pickup from the hotel was frustrating. The hotel charges for airport transfer and for 4 paxs, it sent a SUV whose bootspace is inadequate to take 3 pieces of luggage. We spent time trying to communicate with the driver. Only nearly 1hr did we depart from the airport for the hotel. Compared to my exprerience in Siem Reap, the hotel provides complementary airport transfer, they had dispatched a mini van for the pickup. My experience with Teahouse's service standard pales in comparison.
