Good views from the bedroom windows, good food, nice staff. Good parking. The hotel is well situated for visiting the street markets.

Top floor. Great views over the square and river.

The hotel is well placed for shops and eating places. Our room was good, with good amenities. The lift is slow and old fashioned. Staff helpful and pleasant. Car parking free on adjacent square.

Nice 3 star hotel with very good restaurant

A nice hotel in a lovely setting. Rooms were average but it is 3 star. The restaurant is excellent. We ate there 3 nights out of 6. Food and drink reasonably priced which is unusual for a hotel. Reception staff were very helpful and gave advice about local events. Restaurant and bar staff were very good also. It was a busy time so parking in front of the hotel was difficult but we managed to park just over the bridge with a two minute walk. Lovely swimming pool on the roof but it was too hot to use it when we stayed. Pool towels are available

Pleasant hotel right in the centre of Le Bugue

The staff very welcoming on arrival, very helpful throughout our stay. Found it a safe and secure hotel. Rooms always well cleaned & a generous breakfast for the price. Nice views when able to sit outside and look over the river. The room was noisy as there was work going on & all the traffic stopped under our windows from early in the morning. Hopefully that would not always be the case. The only real complaint is that there were no TV programs in English. Perhaps that will be addressed in their planned upgrade. Thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks in the hotel.

Relaxing France

Excellent centre for exploring the Dordogne and Vezere area. So relaxing, we could even watch the river from lying in bed!

Wonderful location, right on the river Vezere.

We booked a river view room and loved it. Le Bugue is a quiet town at night. This allowed us to open the door to the balcony and enjoy the river. The room was very large even by US standards and huge by French standards. The restaurant - atmosphere, food, and service was very nice. Very important to us is WIFI and it performed great.

Dordogne trip

Room was clean and well serviced, a bit too small though and bed was a bit basic. Location excellent and no problem parking. Reception staff were very helpful especially with getting taxi when badly needed. Would stay here again if ever in Le Bugue but would ask for their bigger room with decent size bathroom.
