Nice hotel but bit too far out

The staff were great. Really helpful and friendly. Negatives are the fact there are so many stairs. Just walking from the street to the entrance is up quite a steep hill then over 20 steps to get reception or lift to the rooms - was difficult for my parents who are both older bit very healthy Room service is only until 9,30pm and last orders in restaurant until same - quite early! Had late check service - use if another room as our suite had been booked - that was great too. Our suite was not a typical suite with separate seating/lounge area was just a larger room. Was very nice but not what I would consider a suite. Overall had a good stay but think it’s overpriced having stayed in 2 beautiful 4 star hotels the previous 3 weeks that were considerably cheaper and in general a higher standard. Big let down is no shuttle service to the village or shops as the hotel is too far to walk to them. Used to be more bars and restaurants near by but they have been bought out by Novotel who are building huge hotel next door! Nearest supermarket and laundry etc is a tuk tul or taxi ride away. The beach is beautiful tho

Bed with a view

If you are loooking for a hotel to just sit at and admire the view ?, this is the place. It's a bit out of the way to most of the islands activities. and during covid it's a chore to wear masks and have your room cleaned.

We’ve been coming to Phuket regularly for over a decade and naiharn beach has always been our favourite one, so it has always been aspirational for us to stay at The Naiharn. And now that we’ve done so, the hotel didn’t disappoint. Great room design and the sea view is unbeatable. The staffs are incredibly kind as well. The sunset and sunrise view is breathtaking and the convenience of the beach front access to naiharn beach is well worth the room price alone. Overall, it was an experience we will never forget and we will be back to stay here again.

4* hotel NOT 5*.

Positives: pretty clean, nice staff, lovely views. Negatives: tired hotel, very pricey for food, food is average (although fantastic burger). Overall this hotel is ‘okay’ but it is a long way short of a 5* hotel or experience. It’s worthy of a 4* but there is no attention to detail and you’re very much just a number to them, nothing personal. We wouldn’t return.
