Overall the room needed attention such as: More cleaning. A new mattress. More comfortable seating. Window coverings that block light. The shower was amazingly small for such a large room.

Great location in central Providence

Great little hotel close to everything Providence has on offer. We were on foot, taking the train in so the location was perfect. The condition of the hotel is high. Cleanliness of the bathroom and in general was good, but it looked like the floor had not been vacuumed, not so commonly used surfaces were not wiped and the mattress was very soft and old. The room was too small for a couple but considering the location and price, it wasn't a big deal for us.

Boutique Experience

A super fun, quirky boutique hotel with loads to offer. The attached restaurant is delicious and the bar is super chic and fun. The beds are a little uncomfortable, but overall a really great stay!

Can’t say that we enjoy our stay, building is small, room was very compact, not enough isolation between walls, very loud, our room was next to ice maker , so people used it until 2 am, after that machine was empty and we can hear how loudly ice was produce inside the machine. On the bright side room was clean, the hotel’s clerks was friendly and helpful, great location . Will not come back, but wish them well

Bad vibes

The Dean Hotel is not my vibe. The decor (black doors, red lights, thick curtains) felt ominous. I had booked a room on the third floor but was so creeped out by the caged elevator, haunting portrait, and the sign that read "last chances" that I went back to reception and asked for another room. The young woman working reception was great and helped me to find a new room with natural light that I could access via the stairs. I slept fine but was happy to leave in the morning. This place feels like it was designed by a vampire. I didn't feel safe.

Modern. Comfortable. Great service.

Excellent location, clean modern space, on site café and bar. Room is Manhattan or Rome sized eg smaller side. It was perfect!

I guess we got the wrong room?

We asked for a fragrance-free room, and our room was located on the second floor right across from the ice machine which made noise all night. We had a sliver of a view from the bathroom, but the view from the main windows was of another room in the hotel. No one was occupying the room, and the lights were on all night. When we got to the room it was very cold, but the heater didn't work and the staff couldn't get it to work either. They were very kind to bring up a space heater, but I was nervous to leave it on all night, so during the night it got really cold again, and we woke up to a very cold room. The staff was great, but the room was awful.

Convenient location. Spacious rooms, especially for the cost. Great in-hotel amenities, including a restaurant and karaoke bar! I did find my room’s location to be a little noisy, as it was near the elevator. Nothing unmanageable, though. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the aesthetic of this hotel. Great for couples. Parking is limited but we did not have any issue getting a spot in the lot. Great hotel if you are planning on attending an event at the Dunk’n Donuts Convention center, it was an easy 2 min walk.
