Few things missing

The location has undergone some remodeling and upgrading which was a nice surprise . The main reason I visit is the staff is very kind the second is location the third is availability. The only thing negative I can say is that there was no remote in my room or complimentary shampoo had to wash with bar hand soap so just know you need to bring your own toiletries

Great for an overnighter.

The location was convenient (next to Denny's). Room was clean. Staff was friendly. The only thing it did not have was a refrigerator and/or microwave--that wasn't a downside though. It was perfect for an overnighter.

Terrible place. Terrible behavior.

I got there and check in was flawless, but once i got in the room it seemed okay. I couldn't really sleep though the night, due to the door having a gap even with it fully closed. I leaned on the door and it wouldn't close the gap. The following morning (Friday) i left early in the morning to go to a friends college dorm that was down the street. Back to the hotel by noon, and when i checked in, no one told me a check out time it wasn't on the card, nothing. No paperwork was given to me when checking in, no idea how it worked there. I returned to the hotel by noon maybe 12:15pm. My room key wouldnt work, my belongings were removed from the room and rummaged through. When i visited the office to inform them i was there to try and get in the room to get my stuff, they said they had it and that i wasn't allowed in the room because check out time was 11am-11:30am. When my bag was returned to me, it was unzipped and items hanging out of the bag like it had been gone though or thrown. Completely ridiculous behavior.

Clean, comfy, no-frills low cost motel

A bare-bones low-cost motel. Very clean and well maintained. Super attentive and friendly staff. Nothing fancy, but clean, functional and with comfortable beds.

On the positive side, Dannys & Waffle House are in walking distance. Also, it is right off I-35. Decor is old, but clean. No real amenities. Good parking, but quite tight for an RV or bobtail. Over-priced for what it is - Best Western Plus, Lake Dallas was a much better value for similar cost.

Dogs above 30 LBS aren't allowed on property. Management of the hotel doesn't have the courtesy to clarify under the Expedia terms and conditions listing. He would rather you drive out there so he can tell you himself.
