We had a fantastic stay! It was on the quieter part of the island, which for us was excellent! Would highly recommend this hotel!

Amazing hottub, staff, peaceful, sunrise, spacious room, breakfast. That's just the short version. In detail the dark haired girl at reception couldn't be helpful enough with taking photos for us two days in a row and suggesting different places. She genuinely was happy and helpful and remembered us every time we saw her. The room was super spacious and had a little feel of the cave dweling with white walls. Brilliant. Really helps with the windows and light that comes in. We loved the fruit on welcome and wine and cake every evening. Such a treat. Felt so spoiled. Especially with fresh towels and cleanup twice a day Walking around nearby Imerovigli with hottub which are not private and rooms which are tiny we really felt we made the right decision. We enjoyed the sunset at restaurants in town and then morning sunrise from the beautiful warm hottub on our private terrace. The swimming pool is beautiful. Some great photos and they brought over our drinks and provided a table. Again great service. Couple of tips. Don't use google maps. Use Waze App, it will show you some routes by turning left out of the car park and go uphill which is alot less busy. Next tip is to enjoy the sunrise as our helpful reception girl advised And also do the hike she recommended Fourthly, order the iced coffee. The waiter was perfect & anticipated our every need. Full marks!! There is a clear consistent style, so prob a great place for weddings and all in all great place

We can’t say enough good things about this family run property. From the moment we booked our reservations, until the moment we checked out, we received excellent service. The hotel and amenities are absolutely gorgeous, and the staff makes the place even more beautiful. My wife and I will definitely be back to Santorini, and as much as we would like to try another Santorini property it will be tough because we will want to go back to Amber Light Villas again. Thank you for everything!!!!

We had four gorgeous days at the Amber Light Villas and had a fantastic stay from reservation to departure! The hotel was very communicative from organising transfer to/from the airport, and answering all our questions. Our arrival was wonderful, with the friendly staff welcoming us with a drink and showing us all facilities of our room. The resort is very well made and furnished, super clean and spacious. What made this whole stay for us? The STAFF! They were so outgoing, friendly, very attentive and made us feel super special. They always remembered our coffees, what we had spoken about previously (eg "how was your boat ride today?" etc). I just loved it. So welcoming from the dining and bar staff (special thanks to Dimitra, Alexander, George and John!), the spa (divine!) and the front reception. Ugh, we we were so sad to leave! The resort seem more aimed at honeymooners/couples, but our 15 year old son was welcomed and was accommodated with every meal, etc - we/he did not feel out of place. So I would say for sure you could travel with teens here. The resort is also in the quieter side of the island, with a short 10-15 minute ride to all the action of Thira, so we didn't mind - my husband was completely relaxed and we enjoyed the quiet, venturing into town when we needed. Honestly this did not bother us/impact our visit at all. But if you want all 'action', you may want to stay closer where you can walk/stroll into town. In sum - WE LOVED IT!!

During our honeymoon trip in Santorini, we have been stayed in Fira, Oia and here. Compared with other places, Amber Light cant see sunset, do not have a tub on the cliff, however it is definitely the most suitable place for honeymoon. Hotel transportation service is offered to anywhere in the island. Watching beautiful sunrise in the private swimming pool. Breakfest Buffet. Fast wifi network. Much larger size, more comfortable, more privacy and high value for money compared to cave house in Oia. Strongly recommended!!!

The staff were all amazing and helped to make our honeymoon trip so memorable and fun! They really looked after us and made everything as easy as possible. Food was amazing too!

Great spot in a quiet part of the island. It's a short car ride to Imerovigli and the hotel offers rides at no charge. The staff was awesome and the daily breakfast that is included is a full breakfast. The pool is beautiful and it's a very quiet and relaxing spot with food and bar service. I would recommend this hotel for those looking to escape the large crowds.
