The stay was good and all amenities and services was excellent. Close to the main town and market. Breakfast is the best. Friendly staff and very clean.

Cara Lodge is a small bright spot in the middle of Georgetown. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the restaurant has a relatively good selection of food. I highly recommend it and would stay back in a heartbeat if I come back to Georgetown. Thank you, Cara Lodge!

Love this place. The taxi service Cyril took advantage of us but Travis’ excellent work at front desk made up for this. One girl at the front did not know anything for client relations and customer service but the other employees were excellent.

A/C in the room not working, reported twice with no result And nobody explain why nor offered any alternative

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Centrally located. Rooms recently renovated with big tv and modern washroom.

I love Cara Lodge and always stay there when in Georgetown. They just recently refurbished their bathrooms and they are lovely. The receptionist welcomed me despite a late arrival and had my check ready for my early checkout for the first night I stayed. He also changed money for me (despite being after midnight) and arranged my cab. I returned to Georgetown for the last night on my trip and had a King room which was extremely comfortable and lovely. Highly recommend. Lots of character, personality, perfect location (1 block from supermarket with good wine selection and 1.5 blocks from my favorite eatery- Juice Power with amazing fresh juice and lovely curries). Can't beat it.

Colonial charm and perfectly situated in centeal Georgetown. My room was on the second floor of the west wing and we stayed for 2 horrible nights. First, there was no hot water throughout the stay. To have a shower you have to run the water for 30 minutes. We complaint but it never got fixed. No followup nor update was ever provided. Second, there were no body wash nor wash cloth. Had to ask for this twice. Thirdly, there is no window shade in the bathroom. Do not be surprised if your western neighbors decide to say hello while you taking a shower. I wanted to end my stay earlier for the Pegasus Hotel but front desk staff asked me to give them a chance to fix the issues. Lastly, the place is over rated, $130 per night can give you many more options.in Guyana. IT'S A HOTEL I WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN

My stay was excellent. The Hotel was being refurbished, so the entire Hotel was not in a full state of readiness. However, my room was spotless, the decor was soothing, my bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The food was a blend of local and International cuisine and tasted delicious. I can still taste the 'Pepper-pot'. I highly recommend Cara Lodge. For the business traveler it would be relaxing after a hard day and the WI-FI is great. For other travelers like me, it felt comfortable and safe. I could not ask for a better experience. I am a frequent traveler to Guyana and have always stayed at the Pegasus or Princess Ramada. The Cara Lodge far surpassed the competition. Rooms are comfortable although outdated but the bed was comfortable AC cold, TV channels good, steady and dependable WIFI and the fridge with mini bar a plus. Food and Beverage on the property was great and staff very accommodating with great hospitality which in Guyana is a challenge. The property is in the middle of Georgetown and walking distance to Camp St.

Almost 150 usd for such a quality hotel, hotelnis clean people are nice but room have a window to the corredor, no view to anywhere. Room is small, old looking....I m quite desapointed on the relation price / quality
